Modern bullseye offering

I’ve recently been converted to center shaft putters.  It made me think about how much I’ve always enjoyed bullseye style putters.   Unfortunately, I am not good enough/don’t have enough confidence in that style head to game one.  Alignment seems so easy, that it is quite nice on short putts, but I really struggle with longer putts, as I too often do not make completely pure contact.  I don’t think I am alone in lining up well with bullseye putters as well as finding them a little lacking when it comes time to actually choose a gamer.  I remember seeing a study that one of the companies (maybe SAM putt lab, maybe one of the others) that showed the majority of players aligned best with bullseye putters.  This was interesting to me, and made me wonder why no modern company seems to be trying to reinvent the bullseye.

The closest I’ve seen seem to be some of the Seemore and LAB golf offerings.  The pxg dagger is interesting to me as well.  Is there anyone else who is making a bullseye style putter with some modern technology trying to boost moi or improve roll?  Should someone be making something like this, or is there just not a market for it?

@jomatty “+1”ie Love me some Bullseye 🎯 putters too!

There were some suggestions in another recent bullseye 🎯  thread here

eg the Toulon Garage (or Toulon SB?),

and Sacks Parente = some modern tech?

I think they are exactly what i said. Easy to aline but a little tougher to strike well. They are fun though. I actually baught this a few years ago and it was pretty great to me. Its a nike method mod 90. The feel is actually amazing and distance controll is perfect. This is about the most modern version i think ive seen. Its currently just sitting around.

The brass head Bullseye putters of the 60's, 70's, 80" from John Reuter Jr./Titleist/Acushnet had head weights of 310 to 320 grams.

Once Scotty Cameron joined Titleist in the mid 90's he produced Cameron brass head Bullseyes which weighed 330 grams. He also has produced

carbon steel Bullseyes which weighed 330 grams,  stainless steel Bullseye heads which weighed 330 grams, and some shorter length Bullseye flange model putters (33") which had 350 gram head weights.

I play with Bullseye putters and get the best results using a 35" shaft and head weights of 320 to 330 grams. Most of the recent "modern Bullseye" style putters seem to be made with 350 gram head weights.

You wanta great bullseye style putter?  This is it!

I grew up playing a John Reuter Jr. bullseye putter for 20 years. It became obsolete due to loft as green speeds and conditions changed. I messed around with various putters for about 20 years including mallets and other center shafted putters until I found this!  Great new putter company in Jupiter, FL. CNC milled from German 304L stainless steel and was golf digest hot list 2018.

Name of company is AR Golf.
