Poker chip ball markers are lame so I got creative…

Still use a poker chip, if it is in someones line you move it not too complicated.

I'm using a poker chip from Pebble Beach.  A couple friends of mine have this little gadget they put talcum powder in and they just put a dot on the green where their ball is.

This thing? I had to look it up. Seems very unnecessary but to each their own.

agree with you.  not for me but they like it.  I'm sticking with the poker chip.    Thanks for looking it up, I was getting ready to do that and edit my post.  Appreciate you doing it for me.

I keep a bag on me top of “unique” coins some are foreign and others are different looking. Before I had to replace my other set, I had a 1945 silver quarter in there and it had a nice patina to it and had some pesos and other coins. I remember when I checked my bag when I lost it. 
now I keep a crown royal bag with my current coins in there with my divot tools and ball markers

I got yelled at for using a poker chip one time.  Also for using a brass coin off of a whiskey bottle that's about the same size as a poker chip.  Hell, I got yelled at for placing my flat plastic marker too close to the ball.

 

It was then that my middle finger got itchy...if I can't even use the lil' T-shaped flat plastic markers correctly after trying 2 other options, I'm just gonna go tell you to take a long walk off a short pier and do whatever I feel like.

you need to find new playing partners or a new course, wow. Yell at me and Ill use a head cover or a beer can.

maybe twenty years ago, some company made those of machined aluminum, spring loaded ball bearing tip, threaded end cap, almost like a Mini Mag-Lite tube.

you filled them with baby powder and then touched the green to mark your spot. I think they sold for just under ten dollars.

it was a decent gimmick to give with outing prizes, etc.

the marks just wiped away from the greens.
