Bombas Dissapointment

I purchased a pair of casual golf shoes, a pair better suited to no show socks. Of the few at GG, Bombas seemed to be the better choice and many here praised their socks.

 

But less than 6 rounds, I only wear theses socks with these golf shoes, and they have begun to slide and bunch in the middle of my foot. After inspection, the knit is beginning to degrade and thin on the sock in question. This is causing the elasticity to lessen and the sock no longer stays put. Literally 6 wearings! I have worn socks for a year without issue, sport or casual. I like that they donate a sock for every sock sold, but it's hard to keep supporting a brand if their stuff is this crappy..

Wait for new pair to arrive… for free. 
Next time order their no show wool non-golf socks that’s 80% wool.

Definitely let them know what happened and they’ll send you another pair for free. 
 

I’ve been wearing nothing but bombas socks (ankle version) to play golf in for years and I still have several pair that I bought 3 years ago. They look just as good today as they did then.

I had a problem with pair of Bombas socks.  They replaced and I have had no issues with the replacement pair.  Reach out to them, I am sure they will make it right.

I work with the mill that makes them for Bombas. Good dudes that always takes care of their customers. As has been mentioned, just give them a ring. 
 

Also, was in Vancouver just before the pandemic and was at a hamburger diner that was giving out the Bombas socks that they talk about to the homeless.

All i own is Bombas socks anymore.

I am a no-show connoisseur. Been wearing them for ages, always trying new brands, trendy brands, etc.  I even wear them in hockey skates sometimes because they sit below the ankle bones and don’t cause any issues.  I’m not a bargain hunter when it comes to clothing and gear, I just want my stuff to work well, look good, and be durable.  I’ll cough up the ridiculous prices for single pairs of socks in hopes of finding the top performers.  Some are great until they’re washed, some wear out after a dozen cycles, some just keep performing.  
 

These are what you need. Years of wear and still what I choose first for golf.

I agree with everyone saying reach out to customer service. All I wear is bombas and had one issue. They sent me a new pair to replace them.

I’ve been wearing the performance golf ankle sock this year and they’re by far my favorite socks I’ve ever worn. Have a pair of the merino wool but the performance golf don’t slip around as much in the shoes. I’m wearing them every day and they’re holding up well.

Update. I contacted CS and they are sending out a replacement pair. It was easy, quick, and they definitely stand behind their product.

@Mr. Grumpy - check out the socks from Balega specifically their hidden comfort no-show socks.  Awesome socks and your feet will thank you.  They are super comfortable.

Yes, I have several pairs of Balega, fantastic socks! I have the type with the heal tab... A little pricy, but may favorite sport socks..

Kentwool. Have several pairs that are a few years old. Have never had a problem with them. And I live in the south with 90 degree temps and 90+% humidity. Don't know about their customer service since I've never had to call them. Great socks.

Had a pair of bombas, wore a hole in the toe just like I would with the footjoy socks.  At the same time, bought 2 pairs of feetures.  They're still going strong.  Now have about 8 pairs of feetures.  For me, they've been awesome.

Not that you solicited suggestions, but check out Feetures socks. Wore Bombas for a bit before finding and switching to Feetures. They have a front and back tab that’s perfect for golf shoes.
