Please can anyone advise , I am looking for a small headed hybrid with as little offset as possible . I have recently bought Ping G425 4 hybrid , but it looks more like a fairway wood and when I look down at address I just see a big hook on the horizon ! Which guess what ? I normally hit a big hook .

thanks in advance if you can help , by the way I am a good 13 hcp and play regular graphite shafts .

Tsi2 little smaller, less offset

tsi3 way smaller but looks to have more offset to me

I play the g425 and as a plus handicap, I don’t find the offset to offensive

Taylormade GAPR? The Lo is real small, the Mid is very small, the Hi is small. I have the Mid and Lo trying to decide between them.

So, you tend to miss left and like a smaller profile.

what are your goals for this hybrid?

How is your ball flight with hybrids? Do they fly too high, low or are they more mid flight?

Are you looking to use it as a 3-4 iron replacement?

Have you explored 7 Wood options?

I play the lowest flying, smallest hybrid I could find, because I’m only looking to have a 3-4 iron replacement to hit certain distances with a bit more consistency out of tough lies at times.

I play a Adams Super 9031 Proto. It’s not the hottest club face, not a high launching club, but it directly replaces a 4 iron with some height, forgiveness, and ease from troubled lies.

below is a pic of it next to a DHY and 2 iron and another next to a modern hybrid (TEE CBX119) that is about average for “players” hybrids in size

I have an extra, but it’s shafted with a Modus 105s steel shaft at 23* and 20* if interested PM

They had heads only for sale a while back so I bought  a few.

I currently picked up a higher lofted 5 wood and a TEE Ironwood utility 4 iron replacement (like the DHY, but 22*) so the hybrids are no longer in my bag.

I have a tour issue ghost rescue TP.  It's deep face proto and if I remember correctly, 1* open.  It's paired with the Diamana Thump so the combo is as anti left as you can get.

Have you adjusted the head? There are flat options that can help with a hook, and I've found that playing it up or down will also influence how I "see" the club and address. Yesterday I took the wrench to the range and changed the 4H and 5H around a bit, found I liked the 5H down 1 (I thought I'd prefer the opposite), and the 4H in stock position.

Cobra RadSpeed is a bit smaller than the G425, but also is a bit more upright and not adjustable so it may be more left-prone (my F9 isn't for me but ymmv). The new King Tech hybrid is very adjustable (hosel and three weights) but is a bit larger in size.

Background: did you get fit for the G425 hybrid, or just buy it and hope it worked?

For G425, you can flatten the lie slightly which would lessen chances of clubhead closing early. You could also check to see if shaft is too long for you. If you rock the club babk on its heel at address, this would close the face and encourage leftish drift.

Another thing is ball position. For most golfers, hybrids work best if hit like an iron. You said  "it looks more like a fairway wood." If you position the ball too far forward, the hybrid clubface can end up closed rather than square at impact. (Too much closing is a tip from a Titleist rep and area pro for straightening out drives.)

Wunder hybrid??? If you can find any, try a Tour Edge Exotics CBX or CBX.119 hybrid. The TE reps billed these as "leftproof." In general, Exotics line hybrids have square faces.

The Mizuno CLK hybrid is very compact and has almost no offset. After years of looking down at Titleist’s 816 H1 I tried the CLK but didn’t care for it. However, it checks a lot of boxes for the OP.

Check out the PXG 0317 X GEN2 hybrid.  Paired with a Ventus blue hybrid shaft has been money for me. It's been anti-left and does have a smaller footprint.  Best of luck.....

I tested the new Apex Pro and liked it but felt it was too small for me and went with the ZX. I'd recommend giving it a try.

The Tour Edge EXS Pro is similar in size to the Callaway Apex hybrid, but lower launching.

I had an Apex (2016) and currently have a Adams super 9031 proto (considerably smaller and lower launching than the Apex) The TEE EXS PRO is about the same size as the Apex, but the launch sits in between the 2016 Apex and Adams Super 9031

Thry had a pretty good write up in the Tour Edge EXS PRO hybrid on plugged in
