I do. They still feel good and I'll take everything that gives me more durability. Plus, with the Copper underlay feel should improve further.

The Japanese Mizuno site has them priced at 22,000 yen (that includes 10% VAT, so 20,000 yen without sales tax), which is about $190US. I hoping the actual retail prices will be a bit lower (they usually are), because these are definitely on my radar.

 

Still, 20,000 yen for a new-release forged wedge from a major OEM is pretty good. The Vokey forged was priced at 33,000 yen ($300US) in the shop I checked out.

I have no idea where people are getting this $190 price idea. 100% wrong.

 

ALL of the news articles clearly say $159.95 USD retail price (which means you'll find it a little less even with some looking I'm sure).

Same. Gonna take every ounce of strength not to buy a matching 58*, but my T20 is still in great shape. 

 

Can anyone on here (already watched the 2nd Swing review) speak yet to the more compact profile? I don't really see it being an issue, but just curious if going from a T20 to T22 will be significant.

Bonus points for anybody that can compare size to other "players" wedges (SM8s, MD5s, etc.). Was the T20 slightly larger than those (maybe more like a Ping Glide 3.0 in size, aka just a smidge larger)?

It wears. It is just a thin layer of copper platting. It is basically the layer before the chrome them, then there is a raw wedge under the plating.

I was at the THP experience and used these, thanks THP and Mizuno. Love these wedges.

Ummm, I said in my post where the $190US price came from (Mizuno's own official website), also that it is merely the MRP in Japan converted into USD at current market rates. I also said that it's possible the price in shops will be lower. But right now, where I am, that's all I've got to go on.

 

If the wedges were priced here at 17,500 yen, which is about $159US, I'd be VERY happy😊

That is the preorder price on all the websites I have seen.

Do these have a more rounded leading edge or straighter?  Hard to tell from the angles of the pics.   Thanks!

To my eye, holding them at address on the floor, it is more of a straight edge that is very slightly radiused from the heel to toe groove area. It is well done and subtle. As you get to the hosel, you have a little more radius in the transition to the hosel, but less radius than an SM7.

Some wanted pics of the Copper after 7 weeks, 10 rounds, lots of range practice. The 50 on the left had some dirt in the lower grooves and does not show as well. To be honest, the copper looks better in hand than in this pic. I've noticed that about all the pics after the copper are used for almost two months. They show better in hand. Very handsome.

Unfortunately takes these out of the running for me. Not a fan of chrome wedges so I guess I’ll go look at a brand that cares about us lefties.

Thanks. These look great at address. I much prefer the straighter leading edge compared with the more rounded Mizuno wedges of the past.

I was just informed from Mizuno that my T22 pre-order (ordered 2-3 weeks ago) will ship on Oct. 11th. Retail stores will have them on Oct. 15th.
