Pinehurst Bachelor Party

Planning a bachelor party for end of April or beginning of May 2022. The groom has Pinehurst as one of his options. Half of the group (8 total) are big golfers and the rest are guys that go out for the good time. We are all in our late 20s and early 30s. 
 

I know the golf is good in the area and the weather will be good. Is there anything else about the area that would make this location a good bachelor party? Lodging, restaurants, bars, etc. 

 

Any idea on what a 4 day trip would cost not counting airfare?

Not really...the village of pinehurst is tiny and has like 2 pubs, and the whole place turns into a pumpkin pretty early even on weekends. 
 

The only way it works as a bachelor trip is if your group is cool with being fully golf centric and drinking/hanging out in a cabin/house/hotel room.

Wherever you end up going, you can arrange it that some golf every day, 
some golf 1 day and some don't golf.   
 
If your serious golfers want to play Pinehurst #2, you have to stay at a 
couple places.   Some others know Pinehurst well and can recommend a 
packager.       
 
If you have party guys who want a variety of bars, GC, beach, etc, 
consider Myrtle Beach.

Pinehurst area isn't known for the night life.  Like Art said Myrtle would be a better destination for golf and night life.  Vegas is also a cheap flight although golf is a little more expensive there are lots of other s*** to do in vegas.

I really wanted to do Pinehurst for my bachelor party but it just wouldn't work with my group. Similar to yours about half the group were big golfers the others were probably going to be down for just a round. Pinehurst is really tough if you don't have a golf centric group.

I go all the time, there’s no night life. A good steakhouse, a pub (Dugans)is a little place packed wall to wall with grey hair golfers, that’s pretty much it, aside from a Hickory Tavern , Applebys here and there

I am in the exact same situation and trying to look into general costs of a 3 night stay for a large group that will be golf centric. I was looking at potentially staying in the condos for more privacy and doing some version of the donald ross package but March and April are not showing as options yet (assuming its too early). I am going to plan on calling the reservations line to see what they suggest. 855-235-8507

I would be shocked if they aren't booking next spring, especially for a large group. 

 

You want the Villas, not the condos. The Villas are 4 bedroom units with 2 beds per room (so 8 guests per villa). The condos are not as nice or as big, and the Villas are centrally located not scattered around. I have been told the villas book year plus in advance but don't know for certain.
