PXG shipping

Hey guys - looking to purchase the new PXG Gen 4 driver — Can any one comment on their recent delivery times? The sales rep I talked to on the phone said it’s a possibility it could be here by next weekend, but that 2-2.5 weeks was more likely. Not sure if he just didn’t want to commit and then have an angry customer if it doesn’t show or if that is legit how long it takes. I’m getting a stock shaft, but it will be cut down to 45 inch so I suppose that “custom” request may add time. 
 

Anyone have a recent order with PXG care to comment?

I just made an order for Gen 2 irons xt and proto driver. I’m curious on the wait time as well

I just ordered a 0341X Proto 3 wood Monday of this week, and assembly hasn't even started yet.  Sales guy said it could even by sometime as late as the 2nd week of August.  I highly doubt you're getting delivery by next weekend.

 

Side note - I work for an international logistics company.  Logistics is an absolute mess globally.  There are stock outs, backorders, etc. everywhere so I'm sure PXG is being affected by that too.  Who knows, maybe if they have plenty of stock shafts in inventory you'll get bumped to the front of the line.

DO NOT TRUST THEIR ONLINE TRACKING FOR THE BUILD!! I repeat… haha. Just picked up my Gen3 irons that only took 5 days. I called and they said they were ready but the tracking showed them still in assembly. Just some advice. My hybrid was the same last month, but it was done in 3 days. 
 

Yes, I do get to pick them up here in AZ, but build times are pretty fast right now in my experience.

Existing thread in Deals.  I would expect Gen4 to be a week or two.  My Gen2 irons order shipped in about 2.5 weeks, and the online tracking never really updated.

When I ordered my Gen 4 they had a policy of moving all the Gen4 builds to the front of the line.  I ordered on a Saturday, it was built and shipped out that Monday.  I had it in my hands on Friday, six days total.  That was three weeks ago.

I ordered an 0211, custom length.  It took 8 days to arrive.

This is the second time this year that I’ve done this..Sold my old driver before having a new driver in hand..Such an amateur move..Apparently I am not a good WRXer… 😂

I think if you order today you have a chance to get it by next weekend depending on where you live.

Ordered Gen2 T irons and was told 3 weeks. Ordered on 7/7 so it’s been almost two weeks and no updates yet.

I ordered gen 3 irons at the end of June.  It took 2 weeks from order until they were shipped.  Will arrive tomorrow.

I ordered a Gen 4 driver Wednesday night after close of business.  To my surprise it shipped on Friday and will be here tomorrow, I'm in Oregon. 5 business days from order to receipt if it shows up tomorrow, and it is moving right along according to the Fed Ex tracking.  Pretty amazing if you ask me.

I ordered a set of wedges on the 2nd and they still show as order received.  I’m anxiously awaiting for them to be assembled snd shipped.

The issue is they had a pretty hot sale that just ended June 30th.  They were very busy and may still be dealing with this.  It took 3 weeks to get a set of irons I ordered.  But I was also told that anybody that places a order for a Gen 4 item is automatically moved in front of anybody ordering anything older.  Good luck, it's worth the wait!

I’m local but just ordered Gen 4 driver fairway and hybrid on Thursday. 
 

They were ready to pick up this morning. 3 days total. Really impressive considering I ordered custom swing weights, shafts, grips.

I just ordered gen3 irons and it took a little over three weeks from order to receive. Stock shafts (elevate tours) at custom length, Winn grips and bent 2* weak. Was told 3-4 weeks when I ordered so arrived right in that time frame. After three rounds loving the feel and playability.

Ordered a Spitfire putter and was told 2 weeks and it came in 7 days

Went ahead and pulled the trigger on a Gen 4 XF head on eBay for $250 including shipping and tax. Seller shipped this morning and it will get here in time for the weekend!! Will be attaching it to my tensei pro blue. 

 

I just hope I made the right choice with XF vs X. The sales rep at PXG said on paper the X is what their computer says fits me best..but that it’s really splitting hairs between the two. I like the idea of an extra few yards with the X but then again like the idea of a couple extra fairways per round …it was a coin flip for me so when the deal came up on the XF I went for it.

The only one that I don’t have issues with is UPS. They always seem to be solid. FedEx leaves boxes all over the place, including out in the rain at times. USPS always walks them to the door and I’ve had some really quick turnarounds with them but they also have turned a 2 day ship into a 2 week ship. Like right now I have a 5 wood that I ordered 2 weeks ago, seller shipped and then it arrived at my local post office and sat for a over a week. Finally showing out for delivery today.

I ordered a set of gen4 0311T's last Thursday(7/15), called and changed the shafts on Friday, and I received a shipping notification from Fedex that they're supposed to be delivered on Wednesday.

I’m so close to pulling the trigger on a set of Gen 4’s. Have been playing well with my i500’s but these I can’t stop looking at. 
 

Delivery time was a concern but after reading this, that’s no issue.

Yes i agree on the super fast  build and ship of the GEN4S,  I ordered a set of Gen 4 combos P/T and ST with some Darkness milled wedges and they were ordered and they shipped within a couple days.  But that Fed ex is taking forever.

Ordered Proto Driver, 3W and Hybrid on 25Jun, upgraded shafts (GD AD TP), and regular grips. They shipped on 12Jul. Gen4 stuff is prioritized.

Ordered Gen 2 irons proto x driver and a gen 4 xt driver Saturday. Shipped today. Can’t believe it was that quick.

Just ordered a Gen 4 driver just over a week ago and it just showed up today. They built it in 1 business day, FedEx just takes forever to get it up to Minnesota

Just ordered on Saturday and mine shipped today. Expected delivery is Friday to South Carolina.
