Pajaree continued her recent great play with a solid 6 under round today. 

 

Hyo Joo near the top at -3. Lydia and Ariya at -2 with a few holes left to play. 

 

Maybe Maria did take away a lesson or two from Stacy last week. She opened with a 3 under round.

 

The weather forecast for Saturday calls for strong afternoon t-storms. I expect we'll see the tee times moved up with threesomes going off both 1 and 10.

I have my eye on Atthaya Thitikul - good to see her playing. Early days but the current good performers are continuing their run - Amy Yang, Ariya, Matilda, HJK, Noh, Ko, Leona, E.Henseleit, Lee6.....

 

I'd like to get some coverage on European TV, but I guess it will be just the highlights on YT.

I think Thitikul has that little "something extra" that you need out there.  Hopefully she gets her break in the near future

Bunch of interesting names up on the board.  Matilda remains solid with another good start.  In Gee must be feeling frisky as of late,...broke out the knee highs last week...nice start.  Lauren Stephenson has been posting a bunch of good rounds lately

Interesting leaderboard. A few surprises, but also a few familiar names. With two first time winners grabbing two of the three majors this season, I wouldn't be surprised to see another first time winner. Atthaya? Ayaka? 

 

Even more interesting are the players below the projected cut line. Work to do tomorrow.

Not sure how many people know this, but the LET has a regular tour stop here. So, Atthaya along with the handful of other LET players were just here in early June. She finished T6 at -1.

then SkySports seems to be streaming the Evian “Live” on youtube. (I think was 6+hours of coverage?)

For another first time major winner this year I'd like to see Emily Kristine Pedersen win it. She had a great 2020 on the LET winning 4 times. However she hasn't really played great (top 10/better) anywhere this year. If not another first time major winner I'd like to see Ariya win it.

I'm getting ready to head out to play this morning and I got a chance to glance at the leaderboard. I'd like to know what Lucky 6 had for breakfast. She's -8 -9 after 16 17 holes, and four strokes ahead of Ayaka Furue. Inbee is 5 under for her round today. Birdie chances galore today.
