There is a MAP (minimum advertised price) but no maximum. The club I bought my T22 from a few years ago for MAP is charging 1000 on this one, way above MAP.

MAP at $600 means that is the lowest you can sell it for, to my knowledge no maximum.

I can understand golf shops trying to milk profits. Especially mom and pop shops. If the big box stores up the price it’s got to come from the top right?  I don’t think the employees at golf galaxy share the profits so why would they care.  If anything they are probably trying to use the employee discount to score one for themselves. 
 

I hope I’m paying $600.

I believe you are correct, the price should be $600. Mom and pops can upcharge, unclear on my club’s pricing as my pro won’t even tell me what he is getting in yet. I guess I’m just lucky to get my hands on the model I want, albeit at a pretty bit uncharge

Agree, it's pretty in hand. I was slightly skeptical when I saw the first released pics of it. I'll likely change the paintfill eventually.

Anyone gotten any shipping updates yet? I haven't gotten any cancelation emails or anything like that from Puetz, but it's a little confusing when I check my order status on the site. Hoping we get them by August 6th, not ship on August 6th.

I’ve ordered limited putters from them before. They’ve shipped on release day with ground shipping. In the past, the shipping was free. Hopefully we get faster shipping with the $15 charge.

I ordered mine from Dicks Sporting Goods. I have not seen anything since the first email. I am not sure if I will be keeping it or returning it.

Trying to find one in LH has been a challenge. Discount Dan’s was allocated one and my local shops / club pros aren’t getting any LH allocations. May have to resort to ebay unless anyone knows a guy!

These things are seriously ugly. I will decide to keep or sell mine after actually holding it, but have been gaming my T22 which I thought was busy, and that looks down right classy compared to this.

I went into GG the other day and the store employee told me all the new Scotty’s were spoken for. 
 

I said I thought there was no preorders? The manager stepped in and said there was one 34” Newport 2 available.

 

I told him I would take it; we walked to the office where there was a loose leaf paper taped to the wall with hand written names next to the model’s.

 

He told me I would have 24 hours to pick it up next Friday

Looks great, excited to hear how it feels. The milling over the insert looks pretty deep in the pictures so should be quite soft. 
 

I don’t mind the stripes, but face may look better with that paintfill removed.
