I got incredibly lucky, I guess. Someone canceled his order and I got a NP2. Wanted 34 but got 35. I'll reshaft and regrip so it all works out. The lady is getting the flowback.

It's no different than when people list unused "demo" clubs on here for retail prices.  I would actually argue that is worse since they are gaming the system getting items at significant discounts to wholesale then marking them up.  Everyone had the same opportunity to pre order this is how all of his items typically sell.

Well that’s not the way the world works. It’s supply and demand. Obviously the market is dictating what they sell at. I sold two at double retail and I didn’t even have to advertise them. People reached out to me.

According to 2nd swings website they have the flowback and NP2 in 34 inches available. $800 is their price as they donate $200 to local first tee.  Just throwing it out there for those that are looking for that model and don’t want to pay the flippers. I got mine at 2nd swing.

Picked up mine this evening from the PGA SS here in Birminhgam. Looks like I walked in at the right time because some guy was trying to bribe the guy behind the counter to sell it him. The employee called my phone to “see if I was still coming” but he hung up when I answered. Luckily I was walking in the door as he was calling. I’ve got no doubt in my mind that if I had been 10 minutes later, it would have been sold out from under me. Anyways, got the 35 inch Newport 2 in hand. Took it out to my club and played a few holes with it and it’s absolutely gorgeous and fantastic. Much better feel than my 2018 Scotty Select NP2 and my Betti Studio Stock 18.

Anyone have any shipping info from ordering through TGW? Ordered mine July 22nd and it says backordered to Aug 26th. Havent seen anyone with a backordered order so thinking mine will get cancelled at some point.

Anyone willing to swap a CC Newport 2 33” RH for my 34” RH? My local shop only had the Champions Choice in 34” and 35”. So…. I got wha t I could get!

 

I have a “regular”  Scotty Newport 2 at 33” length as my current putter. I love the new Champions Choice, but want 33”. So, I can either send my 34” in to Scotty to have shortened and re-weighted or swap someone.

 

I am in Southeast Michigan. Let me know if anyone interested to trade!

Good luck. I don’t believe any stores in the US offered the 33”, and none have popped up on eBay. I’ve seen a couple people in Canada mention a 33”, but that’s it.

Received mine on Saturday from my pro... was out for the day so opened it yesterday. Very disappointed to see the massive discolouration under the protective film. Poor poor quality control from Titleist. 

 

Its being returned but my pro, who unfortunately has sold his allocation. A real shame...

Go to Carls Golfland. Have them cut it an inch. They can pull that grip and reinstall or put on a new grip. And they have Scotty 40 gram weights there for sale. This is exactly what I did on Thursday but went with a superstroke grip. Ask for Adam.

I ordered from GG and no one that I’ve talked to via chat or phone can tell me anything. They’ve supposedly escalated my concern to there pre-order team but they haven’t reached out to me yet.

Same here, guy told me it was prepping to shop from a store and that he would email me when he got ahold of the shipper. Then some other lady told me they are due to ship in September (she had to have been confused) needless to say GG has lost my biz going forward for pretty much anything. This has been a huge bungling for such a limited release.
