Can anyone comment on the feel of these compare with Vokeys or Cleveland Zipcore?

To me they are softer feeling than Vokeys. From the time I heard someone hit them on YouTube I was intrigued. Took them on their maiden practice session today and they are awesome. Love the square leading edges. Also spun a ton out of the rough and started on the line i intended. Sprayed them with a hydrogen peroxide, vinegar and salt mixture and they rusted almost instantly. Thanks @knudson81 and @Wedge Wizard for the concoction!

feeling on a full shot is VERY buttery. Is that only me?

I compared it with my MG1 and it definitely feels better.

And compared to MG1, the sole is bit narrower on MG3 58 HB.

Feels a million times better than the original MG’s. Far less clicky to me.

Post them.   I’m interested too.  If I buy these for my birthday, I will rust the faces as soon as I pull the sticker off

It’s 16oz Hydrogen peroxide, 2oz of white vinegar and 1/2 tablespoon of table salt. Mix it up in a spray bottle and soak them over night.

Haven’t had a chance to hit them again but they look awesome!!

Thanks looks more orange than usual.  Is that just the pic? Or does that mix make it more orange?

My photos were maybe 12 hours after I applied them and that was the MG 2 also in his video. If you think about something that rusts it usually turns orange until it sets abs then it starts to brown. I’ll post more photos in about a week for an update.

Yes you are correct , it’s MG2 just didn’t think the face would make much of a difference.  Kinda thought Raw is a raw.  Yes please let us know in a few weeks.  I typically like black clubs but think I want the satin ones.

Can’t decide if I like it or not. I know mine will rust over time regardless and will help performance some especially on wet mornings but there’s something I like about a clean face.

I get it.  I either want a clean face or a really rusted one.  No in between.

Just pulled the trigger on an MG3 56 SB, and picking up a 60 LB on Tuesday!! These are so gorgeous I couldn’t resist, and love the weight of these.

Had the OG MG’s skipped the MG2’s because something about their look just didn’t work for me, but these look absolutely perfect!!

I’m still struggling to decide between Low or Standard bounce in a 60

TM only seem to explain the bounce and not the grind….I use my 60 extensively around the green and love to lay the face open.

I can’t try them out at my course but green surrounds are often firm and tight throughout summer

In the Low Bounce, it looks like there is only leading edge relief…will the leading edge still sit lower than the SB when laid open??

Is the LB the same grind as an M-Grind Vokey?

Go LB. leading edge sits nice and low on both. Off firm turf LB will be good

Checked these out at the PGA store yesterday. Grabbed a 60LB and 60HB. Holding them vertical shaft, flat, I clearly saw how one was sitting off the ground more than the other. To my surprise it was the LB that was sitting higher.

I did a double take. Was I tripping? I know the V-Grind of Vokey, it was mentioned by iteach that the bounce measurement doesn't take into account the peak in the middle. Might that be the case with the LB grind? Definitely has a lot going on.

I ordered SB in the 50° and 54°   Went with TW grind in 60°.  Should be here Tuesday from CarlsGolfland.  Looking forward to them.

The TW grind is a game changer.  Received the wedges on Tuesday night and headed on a golf trip Wednesday.  Rain all week. Really struggled with distance control with 50 and 54.   That said the grind on 60 TW was spectacular.   Bounce for the sand with 11° and heel relief for the flop shops.   Square the face and great spin.  The milled sole really does seem to glide through turf easier than others I have tried.

I just need to figure out my distances with 50 and 54. Getting some larger grips put on tomorrow and rusting them up now, overnight.

I know posting to old thread but since discussion of TW grind vs. LB grind keeps coming up here's a pic. Basically the same exact grind, maybe the bounce is different or maybe just measured differently.

Looks pretty identical but TW grind I can see some heel relief vs the LB grind
