Yeah, that's strange.  I know for the US Junior Girls held in my area (DC) they definitely had a "Info for Spectators" section on the USGA website.

 

Maybe they haven't made final decisions yet? Possibly will be posted later this week?

When the US AM (men’s) was held at Erin Hills no tickets were needed.  I would think that policy would be the same now as crowds were certainly not an issue, and it wasn’t a money making event for the USGA.

I agree....I gotta believe free admission to the USGA Women's Am.

I went to a nearby course to watch a qualifier 3 weeks ago.

 

We get few good male and female pro events here in the PNW....but I do enjoy watching some of the Am events held in the city here.

 

The UWA is being played next year at Chambers Bay....I doubt I'll go.

I went to the 2015 USO Tues practice rd at Chambers....it was so severely roped off by the USGA it was one of the worst spectating golf event I had attended.

The US Am (men's) this year at Oakmont is definitely charging for tickets:

 

 

I was originally planning to attend a day or two but turns out I'll be out of town during that exact time.

I thought Paige McKenzie giggled a lot but Morgan Pressel can't hardly complete a sentence without laughing or giggling.

IMO....Paige is still worse.

Well, I think Cheyenne Woods is doing a great job of on-course commentary at the Womens Am this week.  Her voice is very pleasant, she doesn't talk too much, and she's very knowledgeable.  If she wants a job in golf instead of playing, she's a shoe-in.

Cheyenne does only practice golf 4 hours a day....so she has to find something to fill all the other hours.🤣

 

Announcing seems like a fine endeavor for her.
