Scotty Cameron Studio Select 350g - Real or fake

Hey everybody, I found this putter on craigslist in my area and if it all checks out, I’m buying it. It looks like it checks most of the boxes. The grip has been replaced but other than that, it’s seems like the real thing. I know the pictures aren’t great other than the first one. Am I missing something? My concern is the insert on the face, looks crooked a bit but that could just be the camera angle, what do you guys think?

You’d think the seller would add focused pictures.  To me when a seller cannot take the time to make sure pictures are clear and focused it’s probably a pass for me.

I know, when I asked for the bottom, it came out clear, I'm thinking he has a bad phone. It's a short drive from me so I figured seeing it in person is the best, is there something I should look for other than making sure the screws come out. If it's legit, then it's worth the time and if it's not, I have no regrets

If you have a chance to see it in person, I think it's worth taking a look at. I'd look at all the scripting (especially the Titleist on the face and SCOTTY on the neck) and make sure everything lines up correctly. Also push your finger in the silicone around the insert to make sure it's real and not just paint. I have heard some of the fakes don't have an actual insert but just painted to make it look like they do. 

 

The pictures are blurry but if that's the actual putter, I am leaning towards real. I'd be interested to see it close up.

Looks legit to me. Not sure there are fakes of the 33/350 head.

Good tips, thanks and yes I will see it tomorrow. I also  plan on testing the screws, to make sure they are functional.

The face looks really good. Seems like it's in awesome shape, could be a really good pickup if the price is right.

The price is right, definitely on the very low range of any Scotty so if it’s the same putter as in the pics, I’ll have it in my possession tomorrow

Real but there were a lot of these made. A little rare but have seen quite a few for sale over the years.

It's real.
They are very firm feeling putters though.  If you are going to take a look at it I would take a golf ball with me (one that you game) and hit some putts with it to see if you like the feel.
