Interesting that they went with the LZ as the featured shaft again. I saw 5x more DG in the last release than I did the LZ. I guess it doesn't look too great to put a century old shaft as your featured shaft in 2021!

The LZ is a nice shaft...but starting to get a bit old itself.......2013 debut

Hmm, maybe I'll give it a try? DG just seems hard to beat at the moment, although my iron game is fairly inconsistent.

The feel has been great, but i will tell you it feel slighly less "stout" than the DG's....especially the X....it may take you a few swings to get used to the difference....just experiment with the 6.5 as your starting point if you like the feel of the X100

Might want to try this next cycle, but unfortunately I'm already locked in to DG X100 for this release. Contrary to common marketing things, I've had several prominent golf figures tell me that iron shafts are one of the least influential factors of equipment fitting; just get the weight right.

i tend to agree and we all know "feel" is subjective......but with my T100-S Irons, i went from the DG to the LZ and its a "world of difference"....the DG just didnt work for me in this head.....and im playing better because of the better "feel" of the LZ shaft......its still stiff, but it loads a little different for me.....and the mental confidence i have over the ball results in better strikes for me.....

Absolutely. In my opinion equipment is more about what looks/feels good to the player more than anything else. Ex. I will never play a Callaway driver even though they somewhat perform for me, as I simply can't stand the sound of the ball coming off the face. To me a dead miss sounds the same as a pured shot.

Preorders 1st week of August

Release the last week of August

I have hit everything and already ordered my set. The T100/T100S feel like the MB. I am curious to see what everyone thinks about them. This is the best lineup of irons that Titleist has ever made. T200 is going to remind a lot of people of TM-B, without the TM-B price tag.

what is "spring steel"?

from Wiki - Spring steel is a name given to a wide range of steels[1] used in the manufacture of springs, prominently in automotive and industrial suspension applications. These steels are generally low-alloy manganese, medium-carbon steel or high-carbon steel with a very high yield strength. This allows objects made of sprung steel to return to their original shape despite significant deflection or twisting.

Marketing rules!! lol.

I venture a guess, TT/PX wanted more profit out of those unique shafts, so maybe Titleist got a deal?   They don't appear to be selling all that well.  Me thinks, good ole Ian Poulter hasn't helped sell them all that much.  I tried them out as 6.0 LZ came standard in the set of 620 CBs.  All I kept hearing was a big clunk at impact, so they were yanked and PX were installed to match up with 620 MBs.

I'm no great authority as far as iron shafts are concerned unfortunately. DG X100 no questions asked!

playing my best golf ever in a set of s400’s. I’ve found that there are quite a few shafts that fit me well, but whoaa, tried the C tapers S+ in some iblade heads and I just lose all enjoyment of the strike.
