Who else mostly walks off after 9 holes ?

That's my plan if I'm fortunate enough to reach 67 and still healthy enough to play.  

Walk 9 holes Monday - Friday and leave the weekends to the workers.

I leave after nine all the time.  

Usually if the course is busy and I don't feel like waiting around or if I'm just playing bad and want to end the pain. 

 

My course is set up so you're walking past your car to reach the tenth tee box.  Sometimes it's too tempting not to jump in and go home.

I like courses that give you a lot of chances to quit, I.e. lots of little loops.

Also good for singles late in the evening to play quickly on their own and not be stuck in the middle of nowhere walking in.

I do this too often when it is hot outside lol sad to admit it but just not as fun when you are sweating your balls off lol

So far the grandson and I do 1, 4-7. The tee box for 4 is next to 2 and the 7th green is next to the parking lot. That's pars 4, 3, 4, 4, and 3. Works out really well and only takes about an hour.

Average price on a decent course here is close to $100 on weekends. No way am I quitting after 9!!

Played 9 last night... the weather was perfect and it was a very pleasant round. Not enough daylight to play many more holes let alone another 9.

End of the day, ‘golden hour’ 9 hole walk is my happy place.
