@aenemated it will work with just an ipad for data and range.  I believe the PC requirement is for sim capabilites

Thanks for the info. Can’t seem to find any real info beyond juat that … I gotta see the software. Don’t care about simulator stuff - I already pay CC dues 😂

The curse of being a programmer is being a stickler for the software and if it’s janky … no go.

I was told 10…the last 10 in this list.  Definitely didn’t get pebble courses.  Sounds like thigos had a nice salesman.  Lucky.

i last 10 listed are the gold courses.

Does anyone know of any protective cases for the LP while it's in use?  Was surprised not to see any on the site that you could purchase.

According to Foresight it is designed to take a direct hit from a golf ball like the Quad. I’m rocking it nude…. I’d like a little case for transport tho

Does the number of courses depend on if you buy a package compared to just the LM?  It looks like the 'sim in a box' packages come with the 20 courses above, whereas no package comes with 10 courses.

I'm not completely confident that I will get the 20.  Just what the rep told me during the pre-order phase.

I want a carrying case too.  The user manual does not list a case as included, but it does reference one:

FYI for those of us living in that place called "Rest of world", after weeks of researching and finally deciding on the BLP, I then spot this reply on twitter from Bushnell Golf.

"The Launch Pro will only be sold in the US. Thanks."

Would have been good to include that in sign up emails, website etc.

I've asked if that only applies during initial launch or forever, but of course no reply.

At least with Bushnell Golf making the decision for me I no longer have to worry about all of the other unanswered questions and confusing/conflicting info about the LP/GC3 hardware and software. e.g. If they're both the same hardware then why do the manuals show different instructions for club head marker placement? Surely they should be the same manual just with a find & replace "GC3" for "Launch Pro" and change text colour from Blue to Orange?

Also I sure hope their engineers and software developers are better at finding bugs than their marketing team, like the default text fillers left in their website and manual

I found this here on the Foresight website. Looks like the GC3 will be subscription based OR unlocked for the "rest of world" folks

Good find @Topher925, So BLP definitely to remain a US only branded product. Looks like I better start saving up the extra for when the next batch of GC3's are available for order. Hopefully by then we would have heard an update from Full Swing about their "Kit" and whether 3rd party software providers have managed to integrate with the unlocked GC3.

For those wondering about which courses are included, this was on the Foresight website:

Both Silver and Gold packages include course licenses with their subscription.

Silver: Willow Crest, Teton Pines, Blue Bayou, Broken Tree and Linfield National.

Gold: Willow Crest, Teton Pines, Blue Bayou, Broken Tree, Linfield National, Beaver Hills, Kinsale, The Farms, Tall Pines and Butterfield.

Does this mean we could just buy the GC3 unlocked for $3,995 without FSX?!!! That is something I’d do! Hopefully, even in US you can do that…

No, it means you pay $3,000 for the launch pro then can pay $3,995 for a permanent unlock. Basically replicating the GC3 at some point.

There was mention that foresight has plans to release a GC3 without a FSX subscription at some point in the future, but I don’t know if anyone has confirmed pricing.

That is not how the chart reads but I suspect you are correct. $4k for an unlocked GC3 with the soon to be outdated and maligned FSX 2020 and then pay for software upgrades if interested. That I would do.

Found this pretty interesting. While talking to a sales rep from Bushnell, he let it slip that only 10 units were released today. Can that be right?

Gc3 is still available in their “bundles” if you are willing to pay $3000 for a net, a turf, and 10 extra courses 😉 it is really a toss up you know, bundle vs eBay haha

I don’t think so. I saw a poll on the facebook group where 21 said they purchased. Could be inaccurate but I’m guessing it was more in the 100 range
