Looks great. I'm interested in which screen option you purchased Carl's- was it premium "classic with flaps"? The border around your screen looks super clean. I'd like to build mine in a similar fashion, but also want the finished border and not just exposed bungee cords. Appreciate any details

Yep full driver. I’m 6’2” and the Swing Turf is 2” off the ground too. 
 

driver swing on a plane is no where near the ceiling.

I had Carl’s do the premium screen with the Velcro stitched on the edges. Loop on the bottom and hook on the other 3 sides. Then I got carpet runners and foam pads from GimmeSimulators to frame the edges.

This surprises me. I’m 6’ and certainly don’t have a notably upright swing and I definitely can’t swing anything longer than hybrid in my basement with 9 feet ceilings.

How deep is your piping? 18 inches?

6’3” and I can swing driver in my basement though it’s pretty close. I have a buddy who is 5’11” and he hits a 10’ sim enclosure in his follow through sometimes 🤷‍♂️

Also interested in this.  Hit 190 ball speed shooting for 200 this winter.  Don’t want to shrink the space more than I need to.

12-13 inches. I can expand on the joints to about 18, but so far I’m not near the drywall behind it after rifling around 170 ball speed off a driver into it.

Just need to fish that wire through your ceiling and out through the wall and you'll have a professional level set up!

The premium screen can handle a lot. It’s woven tightly. Word of advice, PUT IT ON THE RIGHT WAY. pay attention to the grommets as far as which is front vs. back.

Yeah we just built this house and I wasn’t sure of my appetite to do this at the time. The ceiling has ducts running through it so it will be cord tracks and paint to disguise it for me…

I built my house a few years ago and I’m really regretting not laying another course of block to get an extra 8” of height.  I actually have 8’6” from my mat to the bottom of my floor trusses.  Might need to build an underground addition or knock the floor out and lower it a foot.

Edit: fyi, mine's a GC3.  Seems the LP has been handled differently

Ok thanks, i ordered the GC3 on Sept 30 and was charged on Oct 4th and got my software email on Oct 14th but nothing else so im assuming pretty soon.  I haven't done anything about the software email but I'm sure that wouldnt effect anything about shipping the actual product.

Today, I ordered the GC3 through my sales rep.  He said 6-8 weeks.

I finally pulled the trigger today as well.  Rep also said 6-8 weeks.  I hope this estimate is high and I get it sooner rather than later.

More operator error than anything else.  Out of the box to having it register shots on the unit in seconds.  Had to find the instructions to connect it to my pc.  One that was set FSX2020 was easy to use.  iPad connectivity is an issue right now but you just have to follow certain instructions to set it up. All in all i love it.  Light years more accurate than my mevo+ and the simulated golf is much better than using a mevo+ of e6 connect.

Can you explain the grommets to me, i have some issues with the way my screen looks.  It’s bunched up in a few areas and yours looks fantastic.  Thanks!

The rough raised edge of the grommet means it’s the back side. There’s an area on their website that explains it. Also to get it from getting bunched just add more bungees. I would get the bungees that Carl’s provides. I have almost all bungees on and it returns the ball back to 9 ft where I’m hitting it fairly well.

Tarp clips and ball bungees work way better than grommets. You have to have a little slack in it to keep the balls from springing back. Below is the guide I used and my almost finished product. I’m still waiting on money putt turf and my BLP
