Dormie Workshop Headcovers: Worth it or Expensive?

I have long debated whether https://dormieworkshop.com headcovers are worth its price. They are all, if not most, above $100 and thats basically a new wedge LOL. So it took some thinking before spending to get headcovers for my 5 wood and hybrid. But my buddy beat me to it and got some for my birthday earlier this year and let me tell you something..It is expensive BUT the quality is like nothing ive ever seen before in a headcover and ive owned quite a few headcovers.

 

It took like 1 month-ish till i got the headcover due to covid back then but also since their headcovers are handmade!!! The leather quality is amazing, the packaging was great, and they smell like a brand new Louis Vuitton Bifold wallet straight from the store, meaning to say that you can tell the quality is great. Side note: My driver headcover is not from dormie workshop, it is from PINS AND ACES, another great headcover brand that is good quality and their service is amazing. I think it was around $30 and its called the graffiti i think.

I have a driver cover from them and I agree with everything you said super high quality, that feels like it's going to last forever.

Yooo honestly its worth the price for how durable it is. The leather is super high quality but i was afraid it wud get destroyed under the sun or when it picks up a lot of moisture. I currently live in the tropics where its super humid, really hot and when it rains, it pours. But im confident in saying that they still look amazing..no signs of wear and tear yet. My maintenance is only giving them a wipe every now and then when they start accumulating like micro dirt from the course. Definitely a good buy

I'm looking at doing a set of covers for my woods and potentially a putter, obviously lots of companies out there but I want something fairly simple which I think Dormie can easily do and do well. Plus me being in Canada not having to factor in exchange rate, shipping, duty/import taxes probably same price or similar. 

 

Will see what I do and if Dormie can make my simple ideal a sweet reality.

I have yet to life has been busy for me plus they get super busy around Christmas and actually cut off orders. I was planning for it to be an off season project just something to do and save up for. Plus have to deep dive their IG pages to put together exactly what I want. I have an idea just have to visualize it.

I don't think he's asked yet, but if their headcover custom charge is anything like their charge for custom work on yardage books, the headcovers will end up $200+ each. I just ordered a non-custom Dormie and it was $130. Just to be clear, custom to them isn't just Initials.

I have the NES controller cover for my fairway and it is showing some minor wear in stress points.

What course is that? I remember playing some course somewhere in Ohio that had a similar, yet more dilapidated, silo that you rode your cart through on one of the holes.

I'm curious how they have held up as well.  Thinking about ordering the Maverick and Goose, but custom ordered to use dark navy for the Maverick (instead of black) and navy/white stripes for Goose (instead of black/white) to match their helmets from the movie.  Since they would be somewhat custom at that point, I was also thinking about leaving off the black goggles because I'm not sure how well it would hold up and it looks like it creates an awkward bend/wear point.  Thoughts?

These look great! Still trying to figure out if they are worth the extra coin$$. There are other things out there like pin and aces with quality covers for quite a bit less. 
 

for those who have them is it worth it? Currently looking at driver’s the white Bomber (tiger) cover or the black keep calm and hit bombs
