Like how tiny is his head that a normal snapback won't fit him. Perhaps when its cinched down that much it looks like s*** and Nike and he aren't cool with that. Sounds like a problem that shouldn't be a problem but that's just me...

I find it hard to believe that Nike couldn't design and manufacture a custom hat knowing about the schedule months in advance.

What's the point of paying all those Chinese 'workers' two dollars a day if they can't make it happen?

I'd like to keep golf in the Olympics. Considering that we see these guys go out there every weekend to try and win something for themselves, I think adding a team aspect makes event feel a little more unique (more Ryder Cup like, which is a good thing in this case) and would help with TV ratings to make sure it doesn't go away.

Even if they did, wearing something which is not part of the team kit would have been a no go.

Kinda interesting. Watching some other sports. ie swimming, tennis. The athletes are wearing whatever brand they’re sponsored by. Yeah they’re all team colors, but different brands and designs.

Seeing how horrendous the Oz kit is for Leishman and Smith, you bet they would wish they were able to wear their own stuff 😂

Got to go with the " to bad that ship sailed crowd, " if the pinnacle in your sport is 4 Majors then it's those 4 Majors, not a gold medal. Same with the other major sports, its the World Series trophy, Super Bowl trophy, etc.

If you're on  the Jamaican bobsled team you want that gold medal, I see it.

As for the " well the rest of the world athletes are pro's " so what, they don't get to participate then. The IOC sold out to corporate and it's to bad for amateur sports.

LOL, I guess they all use PED's now huh?

To me the Olympics used to be about the sports you rarely see once every 4 years.  Now it's a lot of the same people in a different place.

Well , greenies were rampant in the 60s in baseball, even though the media would love for us to think things were pure then.  Let's not even talk about how bad gambling was in the early 20th century.  People have always looked for an edge.  Chemical came about around the 50s.

After the Ben Johnson affair in 1988, Canada commissioned what is known as the Dubin inquiry.  A lot of stuff came out from that.  But it was also the only time athletes willingly testified as to what was going on, because it still is today.

And part of the reason you rarely saw those other sports is you didn't have the technology to see them.  Now you can.   Badminton, cycling, swimming, you name it.

I'm 100% OK with the Italians playing with shirts untucked. More should do it.

What I'm not OK with are the horrible shirts Rory and Shane Lowry wore yesterday (Weds). Bland beige (or is that dirty dishwater?) with a neon green emblem on the chest. Tucked in or not, those shirts are awful.

It's not the untucked that bothers me...maybe it's the color combo or the cut, but it just doesn't look good.

Better than Cam Smith...looks like a janitor, and dresses like one too!   What was he thinking?

I keep seeing people comment they are against professionals in the Olympics but why?  A gold medal would be less prestigious knowing there is someone or multiple people that could beat the gold medal winner.

Do you think the low amateur at the Open or the Masters feels bad about their award because they didn't beat the pros?

I want to know if the logo on the Italian cap is of two naked women sitting  back to back to form the letter "m" ?

I see that singular on 18 wheeler mud flaps driving down the turnpike.

It’s a man and a woman, and the brand is Kappa

The “Omini” logo stands for quality, humanity and authenticity.

What’s your point?  People cheat amateur and pro.  My initial point was it’s just less interesting now. Boring for the most part. Bad product. Watch all you want I don’t care. I saw some badminton while eating lunch at a bar today, kinda fun. I just don’t need to see rich entitled whiney pro athletes in the Olympics.  It does nothing to interest for me.
