I play the back tees, I have never played the Championship tees.  I think they would be too long.

But honestly, I think the back tees are misleading, there are a lot of doglegs on the front and I only hit my driver on hole 1, which is nice since this allows me to be in good position with clubs I am more confident off the tee with.  The back though, I use driver a lot...

If I played the championship tees then I would have to hit driver on the front a lot more.  Maybe one day I will figure out how to hit the club consistently on the course.

My course tips out pretty hard

Black 75.5/133 7309

Purple 73.5/127 6900

I'd like to be able to play the Black as it fits my distance more realistically but mostly play the Purple since Black tees are usually not even up on the boxes. It's a tough course

Does the green have anything to do with slopeage? My course us fairly easy when it comes to the fairway and hazards but we have some of the toughest greens I have played when it comes to Colorado or Nevada. I have never played anywhere else so that's all the comparison I have.

A little confused by your statement here?

An internet search of "how are course ratings and slopes calculated" gives the following result from Golfweek:

https://golftips.golfweek.usatoday.com/calculate-course-slope-rating-20484.html

It explicitly says that green speed and difficultly in hitting the green is considered for course rating (and implicitly so for slope rating).  No mention is given about if undulations of the greens is considered, but given all the things they do consider it would be strange to leave that out (and it is implicitly part of the difficulty in hitting the green).
