Probably for the cost of shipping it over...A lot of companies are choosing to ship by plane instead of boat.

 

TM will have their new driver in January and it looks quite nice. $600 price tag is what I was told 💸💸💸

SIM2 is $539 and they have sold thousands! So the answer is absolutely yes on the $600. $60 to a golf club junkie is nothing. 
 

Lots of guys get the aftermarket shafts ($250+) and spend well over that already.

There are a lot of great lower price options these days. You’re only spending $1000

Given all the supply chain constraints, it will be interesting to see how the big brands decide to roll out, if any, new equipment in '22. I am a Titleist fan and if you follow the release pattern over the last 8 years or so of Titleist, they are due for a new rollout of Drivers and fairway metals. Typically you'll see the likes of Jordan Speith and Justin Thomas demo these clubs in the summer, followed by the public release around Sept./Oct.

I didnt spend a $1000 on a driver. I spent it on the tees. The driver is $7000 now... i cant afford that. Each round cost $550 now. This will be us in 2024 at this rate lol

I 100% think people will spend the money on the driver...and that is a price without an upgraded shaft, so add anywhere from $100-300 to that driver number. 🙃

Ever wonder why not just sell the head alone for $150 less because a lot of people already have a shaft they like? Of course you didn’t?….

Id love Taylormade to bring out the next driver with either a dark grey or black front top edge, instead of the light grey.

 

Im very keen to see what Srixon are doing with the next iron release. I hated the looks of the zx irons. But my 785s will need an upgrade in 12 months.

No way in hell would I spend 4 bills for an Odyssey. They install 2 out of ten double bend shafts correctly. All the heads produced exactly the same by a machine yet none of them sit the same. No thanks.

Does anyone have any ideas on how Vokey is going to improve the SM8? In my opinion, after 20 years of playing Vokey, this is the best they have done. Albeit, an oil can finish would be amazing! I know that B.O.S. out of SoCal did the Scotty Cameron oil can finish in their patina color, so not sure Titleist has the rights to that finish anymore. Just redid an old oil can from BOS and came out amazing!

Amazing. They are really great at what they do and the absolute best at the oil can finish.  That’s just perfection.

I don’t love vokey feel. They could address that. I think that they could honestly just do the coating that keeps spin up in wet conditions and call it a day. That is one area mizuno and ping have a leg up.
