So based on Rory's latest and greatest yip on a 6 foot putt that absolutely mattered on the his final hole of the bronze medal 7 way playoff with his beloved Cameron that was supposed to cure all of his putting ills based on plenty of overzealous fanboying in this thread I have to downgrade him from his earning a .99 cent McDonalds cheeseburger to maybe a frozen White Castle burger at absolute best. 

 

Hell Rory's putting doesn't even rate as a plant based burger that at the end of the day is truly a real nothing burger. The nothing burger circle is complete. 🙃🙃🤣🤣😜🥱🍔🍔

I have to admit I really like the colour/finish of his Scotty - Rors seems to like this colour scheme, thought he putted decently w/the 'copper' TP Soto he used at the API a few years ago...

It's amazing how many people think they know as much as they do regarding the game when they have never played golf on the big stage, many not even in tournament competition at any level.  GolfWRX is the single greatest site in the entire world where no accomplishment golfers can criticize multi-major championship winning golfers because they simply know better with their 8-16 handicaps.  Not saying everyone has high handicaps but they're certainly not in the league of Rory McIlroy and will never be.  🙄

The internet in general is kinda the worlds greatest “site” for unaccomplished individuals to sit back and judge everyone and everything! 😂 This site in comparison to most (Facebook, Twitter, IG…) is as tame as a new born kitten. Haha

I think you're correct on this.  I suppose this is one reason I deleted my FB and Twitter accounts.  The only Social Media sites I frequent regularly is GolfWRX and another golf site (not as frequently as this site).  I also frequent a frequent traveler site but not nearly as often as I did nearly 2 decades ago when I joined.  I would rather have a good conversation in person than over the internet.  Only risk is getting smacked upside my head when I say something sarcastic.  😉

That's what I'm wondering, too. I've asked on a few Instagram posts and nobody seems to know. I couldn't get a good look at it during the TV coverage. I'll see if I can pick it up this week.

Looks pretty small to me. And he has small hands.  So would take a small grip to look small in his hands.  I wonder if it’s not a studio grip , or a blacked out ping man ? Both are the thinnest I know of.

This is the cycle.  Any of us who’s seen it knows it.  You use the stick that helps make a better stroke.  The stroke gets solid out of necessity.   Then you go back to the mallet head.  It feels easy , you Make a few good rounds. Then  Stroke goes back to pot because of the mallet.  Rinse repeat.  
 

if someone can crack the code of keeping a solid  stroke with the mallet.  That’s the ticket.  But it’s counter productive mission most times.

Yep.  It’s a solid point.  But I wonder if tiger has encountered this.  - I have that , a bullseye , and a center shaft mallet on my practice green. They’re well used things that stay put there in a plastic storage box.  I have plenty of days where I find that I make far more with the 8802 shape ( odyssey 8 model in actuality ) than my gamer.  Where it hurts is mishits on lag putts.

No , no putter is able to be perfectly aligned except the stand alone putters.  It’s ALWAYS an educated guess.  You’re not using binocular vision to line it up.

Lol. No worries. Gotcha.  Maybe so. I guess it depends on how much he cares what they say.  It’s not as if he can’t go elsewhere and get same money.  Callaway begged him to come to them.  And would again I bet.
