New TM driver no wrench?

Typically drivers come with one and fairways do not. They could be treating it like a fairway.

I didn’t get one with my store bought 300 Mini Driver but I had an old one laying around from an R9 SuperTri that fits and works fine along with the one that came with my Mizuno hybrid.

I also didn't get one with the Mini that I got from TM.

 

I went through a fitter, and the head was already installed in the setting I was fit for, which was nice. The grip is on straight even though it's in the +1.5 loft setting.

T20 torx bit or T20 screwdriver works just fine.  I keep one in my bag.

Driver: Titleist 913 D3 8.5° A-1 setting Graphite Design YS-6+ 65g stiff

I have a Titleist wrench.  Works just fine with all the TM adjustable woods I’ve used since the 915 D3 failed experiment in 2015.  

Driver:  TaylorMade 300 Mini 11.5° (10.2°), Fujikura Ventus Blue 5S Velocore

3W:  TaylorMade M4 15°, Graphite Design Tour AD DI 7S

Hybrid:  TaylorMade Sim2 2 Iron Hybrid 17°, Mitsubishi Tensai AV Raw Blue 80 stiff

Irons:  Mizuno Pro 223 4-PW, Nippon Modus3 Tour 120 stiff

OEM supplied wrenches are nothing special.

 

Mine is a torque wrench, so it isn't like what you get at Lowes. If you have a torque wrench already, then all you need is a t20 socket. 

 

The white TM wrench is 40, not sure of the torque specs for all drivers but likely the same.

I hear you, but I've never bought into the need for the torque aspect. Just tighten it enough so it's not loose, like any other screw. Never had one go loose on me.

 

Or I'm just not strong enough to over-tighten it. That could be it too lol

When I bought a cobra F8 3wood a few years ago direct from cobra, it didn’t come with a wrench. 

i emailed and they responded saying they don’t send them out anymore. (Someone above already said that) 

but, he did say he would send one if I needed it.

I've never had issues with OE weights, but I stripped a few ebay weights well before getting to 40. 🤣

 

As a QA Engineer, I tend to follow specs on things like torque. I can't help it.

I don't pay attention to the "torque specs" as I'm not that anal and this would be the first time I think I've ever heard of people worrying about this.  I tighten till it pops and off I go.  I've only had 1 screw break and it was my fault in slamming the club in the ground.

I'm gonna assume they're all just standardized, even if that's stupid, bc they're not exactly different mechanisms.

The torque specs are just like torquing the lug nuts on your car wheel. Overtighten with an air gun and you can't get em off on the side of the road. Undertighten and you risk getting loose.

For the golf club I don't wanna keep turning the wrong wrench til it clicks because unlike a steel wheel, the screw could deform the metal underneath. If a Titleist torque wrench does 50 pound inches and a cobra does 30, you get the picture.
