2021 T100s with ProjectX LZ 6.0 Lead time

I ordered T100s (4-pw) with projectX lz 6.0 on the release date through golfusamanhattan.com.

Today i got an email that the shaft is back ordered until mid September.

I asked for the same exact shaft today and was told normal build time of 25 days.

Isn't the T100S suppose to come stock with project x LZ 6.0 and the T100 with AMT White? If the LZ is the stock shaft, I can see why it would be back ordered.

 

Also, why not just cancel your order and wait when it hits retail on August 26th?

I am doing my fitting tomorrow for the same shafts, just need to decide on a head.

 

After what happened last year with the TM P7MC/MB situation I am fully expecting not to see these clubs until a much later date and mentally reserved to play my current 620MB for now haha.

In this time of supply chain mess, just order the heads with ANY shaft in them you can and buy the shafts separately from whoever has them in stock new, or buy them used and install them.

 

...or wait months.

Build times are 30 days for the most part so you are pretty close to being on schedule

Just ordered mine today, except with 6.5. Golf Galaxy told me 6.0 is backordered until October - most grips are available though.

Same boat. I just called the golfusamanhattan and it is the problem with True Temper. Even the stock shaft is back ordered and it won't be shipped in August.

I spoke with the Titleist Customer Service team this morning and the assured me my order with Modus 120x and Titleist tour velvet grips (loose in box) are in stock and on track for on time shipment on launch day.

I've asked his many times and they say it's about quality control.  There are "head only" accounts out there, but those builders have been vetted to make sure they build a quality club.  At least that's what the rep tells me.  They will ship with the grip in the box to make disassembly a bit easier.  

 

Last set I ordered was Srixon and they actually sent all the components unassembled to my club builder.  Then he just gave them to me that way.  Was awesome.  Shafts were uncut too so easy to sell.

 

But I'd be willing to pay more for even weight sorted heads.  Imagine if you could custom order a set with individual weighted heads to spec.

100% That would be great. I like to build clubs as a hobby and I like to choose my own ferrules, etc. Just seems silly to take a torch to new clubs to remove the heads. I would love to find a "connection" so I could get the heads only or at least, totally disassembled.
