I heard his contract with TM is over at the end of this year.  Kind of looks like he will be going somewhere else.

He should go back to titleist. He makes enough money not to need a big money equipment contract

If he doesn't need the money then why sign with anyone? I'd love to see Rory go the Koepka/Reed route and just play whatever works.

Not necessarily sign with anyone but he was very dominant with titleist just never seen anyone play well with titleist then leave and later come back. would be cool to see

Oh yeah, agreed. I feel like Rory could slot into the TSi wood line pretty easily and all he seems to want outside that are nice blades and traditional wedges. He clearly still dreams about Cameron putters when out on the road like a long lost ex, so that works too. 😅

Who knows if it’s true or not?  It will be interesting to see where he goes.  We all know Titleist does not pay big time contracts but Rors really doesn’t need the sponsorship money now days..

As much as it would be fun to see him as a free-agent, I doubt Taylormade would let him go early with TW being out for the foreseeable future and Rahm leaving for Callaway at the end of last year. Alongside DJ he's their most visible tour staffer.

Reed however does now have two endorsements for gear. Gets paid to play the Pro-V1 and has some sort of endorsement deal (actual $$/equity in company?) with Grindworks for his irons that he helped design.

Didn’t they restructure his contract a few years ago?  He was supposed to have a 14 club deal with TM which doesn’t look to be the case if he added his SC back to the bag.

Well...if his contract is really up, maybe TM showing some class and letting him do that so they can potentially resign him? Only 5 tournaments left I think this year anyways...who knows

Maybe there were some out clauses for both sides to walk away early from the contract
