Touching back on some new twists I am adding to this year's 2021 Pick 'em will be something I am calling The Prime Time Picks. This gives you, the player, an opportunity to have a bonus "win" in correctly choosing one of the winning teams playing in any of the Prime Time games. (Thursday Night,Sunday Night or Monday Night) The bonus win will only happen when the player chooses who wins or loses the game based on the Vegas odds for that game. The total score Over/Under will not be considered when trying to play the Prime Time Picksbet and adding an additionally "win" to the players record. Example: The Carolina Panthers play the New York Jets on Sunday Night. with a Vegas line of Carolina - 8. I choose Carolina -8 and therefore if Carolina wins by 9 or more I would win the "bonus" win giving me 2 wins instead of just 1. I however couldn't choose the Over/Under for the Carolina New York game to be awarded a bonus "win". There will be no cap in this, so if you're feeling saucy one week you could go with all Prime Time Picks (giving the player a max of 6 wins/loses for the week instead of 3 wins/loses) as well the player could do the same the following week if chosen. To help out commish 2.0 the only thing that I ask is when selecting a Prime Time  Pick put it in BOLD so it sticks out for me when tabulating finals scores at the end of each week.  The player that is able to roll a perfect score with the Prime Time Picks will receive the Prime Time Climb trophy at the week which will be this gif   beside the player who successfully pulled it off.

 

I hope this coupled with the Division Future Pick will add another element of fun and intrigue during this new NFL season. Be sure to stay tuned for more quips and quagmires to come that will hopefully make this fun unique experience for the new season. That's it, for now, from Commish 2.0. Ram's history. The first awesome QB the L.A. Rams had was a Wilmington, North Carolina boy named Roman Gabriel. I remember as a wee lad in Detroit watching the late afternoon games on black and white TV between Roman and Roger Staubach and Roman versus Fran Tarkenton.

Already two long shifts under my belt. Tomorrow starts 3 days of the member-guest tourney followed by a normal busy Sunday. 6 ball buster's in a row. Hardest work week of the season for me. Pray for touch gents.

P3P has told us that for week one of the new NFL season he will be posting his picks quite early due to he is headed out some place and he expects not to have online service there. So it's late summer that this is taking place is it? I have a pretty good idea where our lead guitarist is going. See he has rented his usual cabin in the backwoods of Alaska for the week. Of course his rented cabin sits along side some running water which offer's the ultimate in fly fishing for trout. P3P has provisions air dropped to a clearing in the woods adjacent to the cabin. The big box contains a palate holding 20 cases of BL's, one gallon of peanut butter, 4 loaves of wheat bread, a large bag of dried cranberries, and some jerky. One afternoon during the week he cuts lose from the tranquility his riverside mountain spot has provided him and has the seaplane run him over to the big lake that rents water toys. 

 

Our boy Pete rips it full throttle for hours over the waves.

 

This is how I suspect our Pac West brother clears out the cobwebs. 😀

I sent him a pm with an invite last night. He politely declined, but he did think it was fantasy football. I just sent a reply telling him it wasn't fantasy football but rather it was only making 3 picks a week with the spread. Either way I didn't want Tiscape to feel I was laying on the hard sell.

LOL to not being a WFT fan...... oh I get it P3P as we already have 3 of them, and yes it does help if one is a touch wacky for sure.

As a Washington fan I feel like we should definitely be higher up on this list after all the only thing we did for 2 decades is lose, lose and lose but then again we do have the worst owner in the league charging $15 a beer. Makes since being a lose lose were use to it.

LOL!  No one goes to AZ sporting events to drink, they go only to be seen!

 

The odd thing, is that the SF and Seattle 'fans' are always stupid drunk and obnoxious - you would think the only reason they are there is to drink!  Those 2 fanbases are the worst in football for many reasons.  I absolutely hate going to games there.  

 

Whereas, I have seen the drinking in some of those at the top of the list, but it never felt the same as SF/SS.

 

I wonder, perhaps, additional data is needed to show those that can 'hold their liquor'.
