I learned today that Koepka and Berger were Seminole teammates and now they are paired together for Daniel's first Ryder Cup match.   cool.

 

I have all three of my horses going out in the first matches and I'm liking that. Bonus I am playing with NCL's Hovland with my Paul Casey. Easy first point on the day for us Mr. PlattsB. !!  ....but wait, it's against D.J. and his partner.  LOL   the DJ curse might hit me right out of the gate as I was chirping last night that he won't make any headlines.  This will be an interesting match to me .

A question for you guys regarding Ryder Cup scoring in our picks contest . If one of your selected players was involved with winning a team match that earned one point for his country should I score that as 1 point or a 1/2 a point? 

 

For example this morning Cantlay and Xander won easily their match. If you picked either one of them would you get a half a point for your guy or a full point? I was thinking a half and then of course the Sunday's single matches would definitely be a full point that is awarded.

Before Ivy (Pyr/Mastiff mix) MrsNCL and I had 2 Goldens bless our lives: Callie (named after Cal Ripken) for 12 years and then after she passed we were fortunate to have Gracie (named after Mark Grace) for another 12 years.  Goldens as a rule are incredible dogs and the emotions they can show are myriad.  We (often unfairly) compare Ivy to the Goldens but they are such different animals in their demeanor and mannerisms.  We will always have a soft spot for Goldens!

Beautiful pups! Love their names as well. My childhood best friend was a huge Cubs fan. When we played neighborhood ball, he was always either Ryne Sandberg or Amazing Mark Grace. I was either The Big Hurt or Will Clark. Rest In Peace brother.
