This week started for me in fine fashion by getting to play with P48 twice. We had superb weather for our golf. Again thank you Mr. Phoenix for coming to NC to tee it up.

You sir knew how to pick the right days to golf in Asheville this month. 

 

Tomorrow the morning golfers better be able to shift gears rapidly apparel wise. The feels like temp at 11 AM is 43*    my lord. Next week will be sunny and cool in the mountains.

Monday down in Tryon it will be 73* for our round. 

 

This seasonal change will mean Mellon swills more Dickel.

I find myself lately a resident of Sucksville with a putter in my hand, but that doesn't mean I feel totally blue. Nope the guy who has been bestowed the nickname of Monty by his golf group (due to my driver's swing tempo's similarity to the chubby Scotsman's) will be very excited to get after it down in Tryon on Monday.

Screw putting, the piping driver down the middle at full throttle euphoria will be back......and  I very much like that high. 

 

Going in very confident, helping is the fact that I putt better on that slow bermuda sh* TT down in Lindsay Land.

Ok here it is better late than never.  The new job is fun but very busy and I have been sleeping earlier lately. 
Washingtin Football Team is a train wreck. A lot of upset fans. They are inducting Sean Taylor into the ring of fame only announcing it this week on the same day as they are honoring alumni. Now some alumni are not gonna show up. 
Give me the Chiefs  Our secondary is pathetic. Our linebackers are worse. And our front 4 is underperforming. chiefs-6.5

 

I think the total is a bit bloated in Arizona. Two nice offenses forgot their defenses are pretty good. Except Arizona’s. Defense is geared to stop the pass not the run. Cleveland can run better than any team excepts for maybe Derrick Henry and Zeke.

I'm not submitting my support to their fan base one bit P3P.  I just very much prefer offensive action when watching, like when the chains move a bunch on each drive. Me no likes a game with 11 punts.  If I wanted to watch constipation take place I could watch a game like tonight's with your Steelers.

There is not one bit of shakiness involved with the guy at the top of our standings.

He has been steady week after week.

P3P is picking games with confidence.

One best be thinking you'll need to go at least 2-1 each week if you want to keep pace.

Disagree about Tony Mr. N.Y. 

I believe he shows very little Dallas bias when he calls a game with the Cowboys involved. I also think he is the best in the business. To have such insight combined with his genuine enthusiasm for calling the game I believe is to be treasured. We all like some and dislike others who are in the booth.  

 

At the conclusion of today's game Mr Romo  said something like.............

" whether you coach football, play football, call the game, or are just a big fan, you really enjoyed this one because it was amazing."

 

 

What a damn finish to a game. Yes I had a pick and some money involved with New England and the points. That incredible finish made me forget my bets.    AWESOME NFL entertainment today in Foxboro. 

 

 

I'd enjoy playing 18 and having some Corona's with Mr. Romo.

I turn the big Six O in three weeks.

I am in my 40th year of enjoying this grand game called golf.

I am in my 51st year being a big NFL fan, and with the stadiums alive once again this year I am loving the 2021 season even more.  

And for 5 years I have enjoyed hosting this unique thread.

 

My body feels tired and worn down, but mentally I am still kind of an excited 25 year old.
