Ventus Velocore Black 9x (.335) - Price Drop!

Decided to purge the golf shop of all extras. Starting with the premium shafts that I have but am not currently using. Cash is king - only interested trade would be for a .370 premium putter shaft. All ventus shafts below have Velocore. Shipping included in prices below for CONUS. 

 

1. Accra Tour Z RPG 462 M5+ ($195) ($old) - 44" from butt of GP Zcord to end of TM adapter. Graphics down in STD alignment. *UPDATE - After a little bit of research and input from a fellow WRX'er - I know believe this shaft to be tipped 1" based on tip to graphics measurement*

 

2. Ventus Black 7x ($old) - 42 3/4" from butt of GP Zcord to end of Ping adapter. Graphics down in -1 Flat alignment. Tipped 1/2"

 

3. Ventus Black 8x ($215)($old) - 42" from butt of GP Zcord to end of Ping adapter. Graphics down in -1 Flat alignment. Tipped 3/4"

 

4. Ventus Black 9x (.335 Fairway) ($225) ($195) - 41 7/8" from butt of GP Zcord to end of Ping adapter. Graphics down in -1.5 Loft alignment. Tipped 1/4"

 

5. Ventus Black 10x (.335 Fairway) ($145) ($old)- 39 7/8" from butt of GP Zcord to end of shaft (no adapter). Tipped 2" - This was an experiment with a heavy weighted head 7 wood. Priced due to short length accordingly.

 

6. Ventus Blue 8x ($195)($old) - 41 1/8" from butt of GP NDMC to end of shaft (no adapter). Tipped 1/2"

Was looking at getting a Ventus Black 6x for my driver, but the RPG has me intrigued. How would you describe the feel and what speed do you think someone needs to make it work? Just looking for any insight on your experience with it. Thanks!

I was fit for the RPG at club champion last season as a driver shaft. My driver SS is in the 115-118 range (up to the low 120s when really going after it) and I have no issues with the shaft. Shaft feel is firm and stands up to anything I could give it when going after it. My ball speed is actually higher with the RPG than the Ventus Black. Ventus black has a smoother feel and a bit better (but not by much) dispersion pattern for me. Also play the ventus in my fairways so just decided to stick with the Ventus in my driver as well. I'm by no means a fitting expert, but I would think if you can swing it 110+ with the driver you wont have any issues with the RPG.
