OK, gotta admit the shape of these looks awesome.  The toe and minimal offset look sweet.  Maybe I'm used to the look but the backs look well done and not too busy.  I've been a PXG skeptic but I'd definitely like to see these in person.

The super villain of blades in my opinion. 2 face. Beautiful at address and 🤢🤢 from the back. Sure some will love it but it ain't doing it for me

Is the offset different than the originals?

 

Otherwise definitely seems to be more progressive in head size from a larger 3 to PW.

Damn. Would love to see a silver head with the silver screws in it. No contrast. Would look clean.

Those are pretty cool. No way I'm going to pay what PXG wants for them with so many other great options on the market, but for someone who wants to foot the bill, they look fantastic from the top and I can get behind the somewhat subdued tech look from other angles, too. Sort of has a Blueprint aesthetic at address.

No silver screws in the silver head....and no black screws in the black head can be ordered.

That comes from pxg as I wanted the black screws/black head when I placed my order via DD.

Do you think Pat Perez painted the center silver screw in his xtreme dark G4P irons?  😆

I get that PXG wants you to be able to see the difference's of the silver/black and black/silver...but it would be so cool of them to let you do the silver/silver or black/black on the screws.  Really make the heads clean looking with just the PXG logo in contrasting colorway.

The backs of those clubs look so busy and distracting. 
 

I much prefer a clean looking club, and sadly, these remind me of a 1972 Buick Riviera with red velour interior.

Yep i asked them to do the same thing and they said NO !!!  I even asked if i could buy a Chrome set of irons and a black set of irons and please leave the screws out and they wouldn't even do that......

Are they all removable?

 

Find someone local (or not) that is buying the opposite color. And trade them out.

 

Are they the same screws in prior sets? Buy a used set, swap them out, sell old set maybe at no loss or profit with custom screws.

They look ugly and like something that came out of an erector set to me.

Then top off they cost more than Mizuno or Titleist

I have to be honest, I absolutely love the black version, not convinced they do anything special and I am also not convinced that I would want to spend the cash to get them over a set of Mizuno's, but I intend to hit them, if I like them better, I will part with the cash, its not a huge amount over the life of the clubs.  Mind you, I have had 3 new full sets in 3 years a few times now, so no guarantee I will game them for 3-4 years...

 

Either way, I would not have an issue with someone else buying them, if thats how they want to spend their cash, good luck to them!

Decided to spray paint the silver center screw weights...all the existing center weights worked with the new shafts to get me the desired swingweight.

Used:  VHT Epoxy Paint, Satin Black SP652

The color matches the finish on the iron well.   High temp and all weather epoxy paint that should last in this location on the head.

Of the eight weights, two I had to use a butane torch to loosen the Loctite Red that it seemed was used.

I placed them back with Loctite Blue which is easier to remove.

They look pretty nice. I haven’t been a big fan of how busy the backs typically look, but these are moving in the right direction.

I think they just used the black Center screws that they use in the standard chrome heads.

Pretty simple swap I would think.

I have some flat black spray paint. Do you think that would match? I also asked for the black weight and they said no. WTH does it matter to them...

Check a local hardware store and find an epoxy semi gloss spray.
