Which of MtlJeff's bags is cooler? (turns out, PXG)

Ok....so I have 2 full bags now of some stuff that I really like. And each of these bags of clubs are in some new, nice carry bags. And these carry bags have nice matching headcovers. 

 

Which of these bags is cooler? 

 

Rules:

-nothing can be swapped from bag to bag. The Cobras are in the blue bag and the Pings are in the green

-cool is subjective. But mostly things you should consider are:

1) which bag would be more intimidating on the first tee of a match

2) which bag do you just like better?

3) which of these bags is more aesthetically pleasing

 

Essentially , the green Titleist bag is Callaway Epic woods and Ping G410 irons. The blue Ogio bag is Cobra forged TECs and Cobra woods.

 

Please let me know. This is very important to me

I vote for the green bag. I just like the looks of the bag better.

Apparently, Jeff plays a course with no rocks, and has a certain .... affection .... for lead tape.  These being wrong side clubs, I wouldn't do more than glance at them and I'm way too old to be intimidated by clubs.  I'm a Ping guy, so GreenBag for me.

I feel like aesthetically, the green bag is a little better. The green theme works throughout, and the Ping G410s have a bit of red in the them that matches the bag a bit too.

 

It's solid.

 

I think the blue bag is newer. And a bit more sexy in terms of actual clubs.

To be honest, the white panel on the blue bag doesn’t look right to me. The navy and those headcovers look great. The white on the Titleist bag seems to “fit” into the color scheme of that bag more naturally.

Alright, I’ll bite. I like the green better and would be more intimidated by the green and white theme.

 

Prefer the Cobra irons over the PING though for sure…just not a big PING guy personally.

LOL---It's crazy how lazy i am when it comes to just ripping the plastic off. I've owned this bag since March. I'm going to go do it now, even though my dog will try to escape as soon as i go outside to the garage.

I disagree!  The cobra look kind of blade like which would be more intimidating.  Lead tape on blades or in this case hollow bodies just look tough to me.

I think the Cobra bag, if that Titleist hybrid has any signs of a wear mark and all the lead tape I'd keep my money in my pocket.

I hit the Ping G410s today on the range. Surprised how high i hit them. Probably like 10-15% higher than my Cobras.

 

I may give them a go this weekend.

 

Gotta get used to the feel again though. The Cobras are very buttery. The Pings are like if you froze butter and then hit it with a piece of wood while wearing winter gloves

May be but you'll get used to it and hitting more greens in reg.  You need the extra height if they spin less for you.  I play G400 irons with Epic Flash SZ driver sans any lead tape.  So, I'm drawn to the Ping bag but have to say the Cobra bag is cooler.  More obscure is cooler.

Let’s see- Green bag has OG Epic Sub that was intended for PGA champion, plus lead tape that I am sure tweaks a few nerves of Ping guys since you’re changing “engineering” , if you just had an over priced Ping Stretch in that green bag it might be close 🤔since you have a poor cost/benefit club in blue bag in hybrid 🤦‍♂️ it’s green bag for the win.

Plus as mentioned i was nutting the G410's on the range yesterday

 

I do miss not being the SGI guy in all of the threads here. I can still shame blade guys (which ALWAYS happens, BLADE SHAMING IS REAL!) but it doesn't feel the same without big ugly clubs in my own bag

I actually wish the G410's had a nicer cavity. But at least mine are lathered in layer after layer of tape

I vote the Cobra bag...mainly because I helped you pick those when you did 😉  But seriously both are cool, I just like the newer Cobra vs the Cally/Ping set up.
