Curious on your compare between the Smoke Yellow and Smoke Black.  I haven't hit the Yellow but like the thought of a CB shaft.  Loved the Smoke in my 3 wood.

Not all that different in terms of performance. Smooth low ballflight shaft. I love it, actually wasn't a big fan of the RDX and backtracked back to the original smokes

 

Hard for me to evaluate feel TOO much because my Cobra is a real franken-driver. It's a 44.5 driver that now plays 45.25 and has lead tape. So it feels like a sledgehammer. The shaft works great it's just such a unique driver it's hard for me to compare it to other things

I wouldn't be intimidated by either bag. I'd figure you never got fitted for clubs, and are trying to correct ill fitting game improvement clubs with scads of lead tape when the swing is more likely the issue..

I switched back to the G410s and after 3 rounds my index has dropped from 1.4 to 0.6

 

73-76-72 on a pretty tough track (for example the 72 goes in as a +2 round)

I really get no joy out of hitting the Pings... like my ex-girlfriend, they are just bland and lifeless, and i may stick with them only because of their sheer performance where it counts.

 

Honestly after coming from the Cobras it's like hitting rocks. High, spectacularly straight, rocks

If you’re being honest with yourself, something was missing with the Cobras or you wouldn’t have thought about switching them out. So hit the Pings while trying to find what you liked in the Cobras in another club that also has what was missing.

my problem is just that i get bored, it's really just that. My Cobra's did everything i asked them to do

 

The Pings i actually hit better, i just hate them because they feel like garbage.

 

I could use either and play well, i just like to complain about stuff online

HMM Callaway woods PXG irons in a Ping bag---- The only thing missing is the lead tape but I will still say it does have the Baller effect

Thanks man I find all of your writing good with your dry wit humor---- I could see me playing a round with you and Uncle Cardy--- I would be in the pain meds that night not from hurting my stressed out back trying to keep up but from the pain in my ribs from laughing so hard the whole round--- Yep you need to write and post more articles

I really would like to, i think sometimes about writing a few more. But honestly not sure i'm in the best standing here anymore to be honest, and my nights are a lot busier these days with kids--which is when i used top write my stuff

Since I can talk about the putter now, here's the updated bag (now with PXG driving iron) , plus some pics of new baby, the Deschamps putter

 

The 0001 on the face is the serial number. First consumer version ever made
