Anyone else get annoyed with guys constantly removing and replacing head covers during a round?

@jordan2240 How you treat your clubs is how they treat you... my guess is yours aren't so kind to the owner on most occasions.

Why don't you ask them why they bother to remove and replace the headcovers at each use? See how your playing partners respond, then report back to the thread here.

I use iron covers…. It’s not to protect my clubs, but rather prefer not hearing the clubs banging around while I drive the cart.

 Use earplugs ( iron covers are like shorts and knee high socks)  🙈

I was playing a tournament at River Oaks today with some friends. I’ve never seen this before. But there was 2 guys in front of my group. But these guys for some reason would take off their driver, each wood, hybrid, and putter headcover at the start of each hole. Only to put it all back on after finishing each hole. 18 holes straight they did that. So yes my group was very annoyed by it.

What - so the head covers were only on between the green and the next tee? Did they put them on next to the green, or did they put them on and take them off immediately again on the next tee?

Yes no joke. When we first approached them on the 1st tee box. My group saw them both take off all there headcovers. But didn’t think much of it at first. Then when they got to there carts after finishing the hole. They would put back on all the headcovers. My group still didn’t think to much of it. We get to the 2nd tee box. And it’s the samething over again. And then rinse and repeat.

You know what annoys me? People who are annoyed by people using headcovers.
