My guess is something older and steel. My 20 year old bettinardi BB8 is much quicker than my new M Craft.

You might be asking a bit much of putter tech there, though I have no idea what the legal limit of putter faces is.  I honestly don't think that the speeds involved in a putting stroke would actually create any measurable difference in ball speed.  Unless you are using some kind of super soft insert.  I'd say try out a heavier putter.  See how you react to a heavier head weight.

I’ve found the Evnroll putters roll pretty hot. Not sure if it’s just me, but I certainly notice a difference.

Ping Heppler range has a nice, hot face. It's smooth stainless steel. With modern weighting behind it, you get a great pop off the face.

I bought a 33 inch women's PGX mallet putter for $40 off Amazon that weighs 540 grams for a swing weight of E4.  Might look into the men's version to see if more weight would help.

Might looking into some of the high MOI putter models. They're usually a little heavier and the weighting means putts won't lose as much speed on slight mishits

The old Nike Method putters were all kinda heavy. I had one of the mallet styles that was like a tank.

Have also seen broomstick putters cut down to side saddle length, and the feel of that is unbelievably heavy.

I find the spider x too soft and have to hit the ball harder than with my milled putters. So I’d say a milled or steel faced putter.

Wow... i was crushing the ball past the hole with the spider x lol...i find real milled putters to be more true to distance that i feel for the putt. I felt the spider x was metallic-y and hard off the face where as real milled putters feel like metal but soft... almost like soft forged iron feel but a putter. This is why what fits me doesnt fit the next person everyones different.

I am in the opposite boat. I’ve been searching for a putter that is almost dead when you hit it. It seems like the ball flies off the face of any mallet, especially Spider X and any odyssey.

The  really cheaper brands almost always have wayyy less power in their putters. At least what i have experienced.

LOL at the two people that said evnroll's.... widely regarded as by far the slowest faces on the market and why pros dont play them... the whole point of the technology is to slow the sweetspot down to hit it the same distance and you do on a mishit.

I used the white hot microhinge line with a little extra lead tape on slow greens, found it rolled excellent. Had one of the new Cobra's with sik face and it was 'hot' off the face although never got to use that on slow greens

I find the Betti Queen B serious to have a nice pop off the face. Much more firm then their other lines of putters. The feel was addicting to me.

I have an older Scotty,Red X, and it’s firm on the face. Also a couple old Macgregor Bobby Grace putters that are firm feeling as well.

You and I must be related....there isn't a putter that's been made in almost 30 years that has enough "pop" in it for my liking....the two best I've found, and all I've used for the last 25 years are any of the Spalding TPM's from the 80's and early 90's and any of the Cleveland Classic KG models from the early 90's.....I have been using a Cleveland Classics Ken Giannini (KG6) putter for the last 20 years....you can find them on ebay.....awesome solid feel on every putt!!!
