Now You Can Hate My Swing, Too!

I’m a lower handicap who works almost exclusively on tempo. And not getting my hands involved in my takeaway. And trying to turn properly. And finishing high and in balance. And not being an idiot and yanking the club on the downswing and hitting smothered, heel-cuts that end up in the front right bunker. 
 

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you have one that’s not so washed out. Also a face on would be great also. 
 

I’ll be honest, from this point of view you’re doing a lot of great things. At the checkpoints I like to look at your about dead on. The club may be a smidge shallow when your left arm is parallel from the ground, but it’s not bad.  It’s a bit hard to tell though as it’s difficult to pinpoint the ball position. 
 

As you approach impact your lose your spine angle and it appears a bit of early extension.  I have this same look in my swing I’ve been trying to correct. But for me it was about twenty years of “Firing the right side” thought I had been taught. But what that caused is after I reached my backswing when I would “fire” I would pivot around that left hip. What I should have been thinking was getting that left hip back. Then the right would easily clear through as it had more room.

Thanks man. I can’t tell you the amount of times I have googled “hip turn golf.” That first one you shared I’d not seen - really helpful.

 

I also appreciate you sharing the feel of the left hip turning out. It’s been a struggle for some time to get that transition down.
