Callaway Apex Pro 21 vs 2021 Titleist t100

Might have to wait a bit for some people to get them etc… but I played the original t100 and the 21 apex pros and liked the t100 much better. Have you hit the original t100 for reference? I can’t imagine the new ones will be tremendously different vs the old.

Some flavor of the month driver.
Some driving iron for Links courses.

A hybrid to save my bad shots.
Titleist blades when I feel lucky otherwise something more forgiving.
A Vokey wedge or 2.
I hate every one of my 17 putters.

Not much to add but the Apex pro 21 are going to be more forgiving. I put the Apex pro in same class as P770, basically good looking but very forgiving. I haven't hit the new T100 but they are going to be more of a players forged club. Like the AP2. Thinner top lines. I'm sure they will feel much better, but their misses will be more pronounced than the Apex Pros21.

I hit both at a fitting. Performance / numbers wise the Apex Pro 21 was better for, me. Feel I liked the t100 better. That being said I went with Srixon ZX7s. Had feel close to t100 and performance of Apex Pro 21

i was about to post this exact same topic. Hit the apex pro, new T100, and the ZX7's yesterday. They were fitting demos so really just 7 irons expect for the Apex pro's. Hit a PW of the Apex too they had in a used set in the shop. The topline of the ZX7's were off putting compared to the other two. The apex pros have a very different sound. Found them to be more forgiving than the T100's but really started grooving the T100's later in the range session. Both felt great, just different. Both very slim and blady. I'd like to hit the PW in the T100 for comparison. Im going to pull the trigger on one of them after the first of the year. Was waiting on the new MP line but the cavity version looks disappointing to say the least.

Following for anyone who has hit them both in more depth. Im curious about the long irons compared between the two.

This was exactly my experience. I LOVE the feel the of the T100 but the mishits were too bad for me. The forgiveness of the Apex Pro 21's gave them the edge for me. The P770's woulda been my 3rd choice of everything I tried.

I played the 1st gen T100 for a couple season and have hit the new T100.  Both versions are fantastic   I ended up going with the Apex Pro 21 over the new T100 and it was the right decision for me.  The Apex Pro's are more forgiving outside of the center, in the mid and long irons in particular.  The combination of sole width and bounce also fits my swing and neutral to soft ground conditions better.  They resist digging more so than the T100's which require a little more precision.  The Apex give more a little more distance and play better in the wind for my game as the spin rates are lower than with the T100's.  I generally spin the ball a lot off the irons and I also like a high spinning ball for my short game so that made the Apex Pro an ideal match.  As I'm approaching 50 and losing a little speed, the Pro's give me the little bit extra.  For a strong player in their prime though, the T100 is hard to beat.

Aren’t Callaway kind of old man clubs? 40 and older.

They look good in the trunk of a Cadillac.

the t100 also look good in a Caddy trunk, but they really shine in the passenger seat of a Carrera.

Read my mind.

Love the Apex Pro 21s and I've had a hard time not buying a set since I rented them in Florida. I'm curious about the T100s and have hit the Zx7 as well. Too many beautiful clubs to try, not enough time.

Not sure if this will help but I recently got fit and hit the T100 and T100s, among others. I went into it thinking I would likely get one of the two. Spin was better with the T100, distance was better with the T100s. I thought the look at address with both was absolutely perfect but feel was very “meh”. About like the XR Pros I play now (which is not a compliment). Both Titleists seemed fairly easy to hit with the T100 being a bit less forgiving but a decent iron player would be able to game either IMO. I did not try the Apex Pro because none of the Calloway’s were really on my radar at the time but the guy handed me a regular Apex 21 on a whim and once I hit it I was done. Didn’t even want to hit another club. They’re a little thicker than I was wanting and technically didn’t give me the absolute best numbers (kinda split the difference between the T100 and T100s) but the feel blew both Titleists away and I couldn’t hit a bad shot if I tried. It really was shocking how effortless they were and I feel like they’d do anything a non competitive golfer could ever ask. So while I didn’t hit the Pros, if you liked them and hit them well, and assuming they feel anywhere as good as the regular Apex, I can’t imagine being happier with the Titleist. I did not buy anything yet and may go back to see how the Pros compare, but man, that’s going to be a hard sell.
