It might be a bit early for this but would like to get some comparison between these two in terms of performance and feel. Please state why you prefer one over the other. Thanks.

I have played the ZX7s for about 20 rounds and saw that Titleist was having a demo day at my son's club.  went and hit the T100S with the same shaft as my ZX7s( Project X LZ 6.0).  I'm switching to the T100S.  These things are accurate.  Feels great and although a smaller head than the ZX7 seemed more forgiving.  I love them and when I told the rep that I was pissed off at Titleist for making a club that I felt was better than mine he said that the Srixon was one club that he thought was competitive. He hadn't hit the i59 so there is that.  The T100S just worked really well for me.  I really like them and absolutely hated the T200 so I'm not a Titleist homer. They are really that good.

Also prefer the the ZX7 over the T100s.

My biggest issue with the new T100 and the T100s is, that Titleist is focusing to hard to create the ultimate tour iron and pushed the T100 closer to the 620 MB/CB market.

The T100 is nicer looking at address (for me at least, I like a more compact look) but the ZX7 will feel significantly better, that's not debatable.

Went for an iron fitting this weekend to see if there was anything that could beat out my current ZX7s and there wasn't. If I was going to make a change I wanted something that launched higher and spun more than my ZX7s but the new T100s did not fit the bill. Also my stock shot is a draw and the T100s seemed to want to turn a bit further left than the ZX7s. That said I also preferred the look and feel of the ZX7s. Overall I felt the T100 was good not great. I would've ranked it fourth...ZX7, i210, x-forged, T100, Apex Pro is how I would order them. I also hit the PXG Gen4 O311T which looked and felt great but I ranked dead last because it doesn't spin at all. Was between 5000-5500 with the 6 iron on everything, PXG was 3800-4200 going 230 yards total. I just don't see how that would fit anybody.

Any chance you hit the T200.  To me the T200 looked very close to my Z745 (haven't had a chance to swing them yet).  Same thicker topline in a slighter larger package.

I demoed both the T100s and the ZX7 at Golf Galaxy recently, and the ZX7 was better all around for me, including feel.  I've demoed the ZX7 on grass, and love the V Sole.  It's a little cleaner thru the turf than my current PTx Pro irons from Ben Hogan.  I'll end up with the Srixons sometime this fall.

It all comes down to your swing and preference. To me, zx7 was a typical forged iron and t100s had a nicer look. They both were great but I was leaning toward t100s just because the tech sounds like more forgiving with smaller footprint, which I can't confirm with only 10-15 hits at a hitting bay. What I am certain is you can't go wrong with either set.

I have about 20 rounds under my belt with the ZX7s.  If I had to do it all over again and the golf store gave me a full refund for the ZX7s, I would buy them again in a heartbeat.  I have the ZX5 5 iron and it's fantastic too.  I had the i210 irons before these and wanted to love them but I just never could get there.  One of my favorite things about the Srixons is the way they get through the turf both in the fairway and rough.  This is my first set of Srixons and I'm really, really impressed.

Goin for a fitting on Wednesday and planning on trying both.  I have played all the Srixon 7 series but have not hit the zx7 yet.  Would not surprise me if they are what I end up with.  Tried the OG T100 a few times and they feel a bit clicky to me... will definitely give them a look though!

I didn't, given the parameters I was looking for the hollow head stuff really wasn't going to fit the bill.

Hit both in my fitting, and though the T100 felt amazing.  I didn't hit the ZX7 well, but I think it's down to the Modus 120, I just can't get the feel for that shaft.  Better than the T100 were the P770 for me.  The way I was hitting them I would have to be even more stupid than I already am NOT to pick them...  Now I will say, the ZX5/7 DOES have my interest but I will be shocked if I don't love these 770s outside.

Went to an iron fitting last weekend. Tried zx7, t100, and t100s among others. T100 gets the best launch and spin for MY swing. The strong loft of t100s and zx7 produces longer distance but the spins are a bit too low for my like. All excellent irons for the right swing. I can share my TrackMan results - see below.

I currently play the ZX7 and have all summer. I have like this set but I’m a little more shallow than average and sometimes the v sole just doesn’t work for me on the harder turf we play here. I hit the T100 on pre-release day and it felt great and interacted with the turf really well, for me. I am not great at describing feel but the T100s felt every “better” than the ZX7s to me. For me, it is more about the turf interaction than anything else. I still think the ZX7s are outstanding. I’m supposed to see my T100 set arrive next week so I can give you a better idea of my thoughts at that time.

Hate to critique your analysis but outside of the one pull with the ZX7 they’re actually the best fit. Not too sure what you mean by “spins too low for your swing,” as your land angle is 50* for all 3, and you didn’t even weaken the ZX7 lofts 2* to match the T100’s.

The landing angle of zx7 is good but the spin is a couple of hundreds lower than x100 and 921 tour. The fitter said it’s not optimal based on my swing speed etc; he is knowledgeable and has the credibility in the industry (fit clubs for many tour pros including TW) and I feel it’s my best interest to defer to his expertise. Bending zx7 2degree weak? This topic never came up. Why I would bother that for an iron that I don’t feel crazy about the feels and looks anyway. Hope this helps.

t100 7 iron loft is 34* and the ZX7 loft on the 7 iron is 32*.  Weakening the loft will increase the launch a bit and bring the spin up.  That's why he brought up the bending of the ZX7 weak.  It would make the spin, launch, and height between irons very similar.

Zx7’s are a bigger profile iron than t100. The Zx7 I find more forgiving throughout the set. I think the T100’s look nicer due to them being smaller in size, but the Zx7 are the winners in my mind due to forgiveness. I think both perform great through the turf so it’s honestly a matter of preference.

I completely agree with this.  I've tried the t100, t100s and the ZX7 irons, and the Srixons were the most consistent for me.  T100s was next.  I have both sets coming in, but I'm going to end up playing the Srixons full time.  I'll still give the t100s a shot though.

The t100s launch higher, they have a lower CG, check out TXG for the comparaison of T100 vs T100s

did they do a direct comparison between the two?  I've only seen the t200 vs t100s... regardless just crazy to think 2* less loft, and they go higher.  Guess the tech really does work...

Played the Mizuno MP20 MMC's for the beginning of the year and was finding the launch and spin to be too high for my liking. Went and tested out the T100, T100s and ZX7's at a local fitter and found the ZX7's to work best for me. The V sole is amazing in my opinion as it helped greatly with my turf interaction. (I am a shallow player btw). To me the Srixon felt better off the face. The launch and spin profile hit my needs the best when paired with my DG X7 gamers.
