Brooks and Brooksy are 2 different golfers! Brooks wears all nike, Brooksy is the guy who wears the goofy hats! Hope that clears up any confusion

What are the odds that the final pairing on Sunday isn't Cantlay/Rahm? 

 

So far they appear to be running away with it. Feel like someone has to go low AND one of them has to fall apart tomorrow for them not to play the final three rounds as a pairing. In the list of players that I might expect to fall apart on moving day, Cantlay and Rahm don't make the list. 

 

About the only thing I think might derail Rahm is another positive COVID test lol...

Rahm is almost hitting it dead straight. The fade is negligible. A joy to watch.

It's a shame there is so much talent shooting in the 60s and not in contention.  Why make some of these guys play for their pension? Just hand them a check and give them the week off.

 

Seriously, is it the PGA Tour's intention that in order for anyone outside of top 10 to have a legit chance and instill some competitiveness in this event, the top 3 have to chop around and play over par?  What kind of plan is that ?!

I think it's a great way to have championships... the tennis players with the best season record should get to start their matches in the US Open at 3-0 or 2-0, etc. The football team with the best record should get a 2 touchdown start and 10 baskets in basketball. The team with the best season record should start the world series with a 2 game head start.

I don't care for it either and playing a par 70 course makes it less entertaining if your definition of entertaining is a guy making up ground.

Rahmbo is gonna win this tournament IMO. Even though he's one back, he's got the best 36 hole score by 3 shots. Cantlay's looking a little shaky on the greens this week.

you know, there may be some stars aligning right now ... a weekend duel between cantlay/rahm for the title, followed by the ryder cup, would be a nice stretch of golf ... and both would be 'legit' fedex cup winners, since their year has been very good, relatively ... not what anyone intended, esp the tour, but it might work out ...

I did not expect Cantlay to have season he just did. Definitely the surprise of the year.
