Apex Pro ('19) vs Srixon ZX7

I'm a high spin player that needs to bring my flight down 

 

Currently using a set of Titleist 755 with x100 shafts, and have been for the past 12 years(!) 

 

Any comments on the Apex Pros vs the ZX7? Mainly considered about ball flight since I play in WINDY conditions. 

 

Which is the more "player" set?

Both fit the bill.  The Srixon's feel better but the Callaway's have a better shape in my opinion.  I'd personally choose the Callaway due to appearance at address (I played them in 19-20).  The Srixon short irons look a little big and have sort of a funny shape to them.  I also prefer the more conventional sole design of the Callaway's.  Srixon forged irons are some of the best feeling on the market thought if that's a high priority.

I've owned both, but I keep trying Srixons knowing I don't jive with their V sole that well.  They feel great though, and in my opinion look quite a bit better than the previous 7 series.  As mentioned, the Callaways are rounder-toed, so if that's your preference, start with those.  Some didnt like the 'hotter' feeling of the Apex Pros, but I never minded it...in fact i really liked it in the 4 &5 iron.  They spun plenty, despite that more explosive feeling.

The Srixon's are lower spin than the Callaway's.  Srixon irons since the 45 series have tended to be lower spin than any competing irons.  This is the reason I have been playing mostly Srixon irons for the last 7+ years.

I'm still playing the Pro 19's. Great irons and nothing has made me upgrade from any OEM offering yet.
