Jays in a bit of a pinch here tbh. His players, whom he works for, aren’t too happy with the way crowds have gotten the past few years. It’s isn’t just Bryson. I’ve talked to guys about stuff like this when the 16th hole at was a hot topic (not allowed to caddie race or give things out which still happens),  that was around 2015 I think. Guys like it one time a year but even then they’re about tired of it come Sunday. I remember talking to some guys (2 of them major champions) when JT had the fan removed at The Honda, every one had said that they backed JT, because fan behavior is just getting out of hand. It’s not everyone it’s that one out of one hundred but they’re getting worse. Jay is making a move to protect his players, we’ll see what the cost is because there’s going (or could be but I’d reckon it gets WAY worse before it gets better) to be a reckoning on Tour. Fans nowadays have the expectation to be a part of the action. I believe it’s part of its the times (the age of social media where if you don’t get a pic to post and get likes it never happened) but also everyone is so much more connected to each other including these players and as a result feel” like they know the players and little things about them that will get their attention as opposed to just yelling their name. The little things being the school a player went to, hometown, or in Bryson’s case names that irritate them just looking for a reaction.

I'm a bit older, slower, and softer than back then. When I was fighting, I was 215#, 6'0" with like 4.5% body fat. Now, I'm 245#, 6'0", and like 28% body fat.....LOL....

Oh at a tournament? No. I used to keep it in my truck when I was working. I do know some clubs that offered there grounds crews pistols with buckshot for snakes because they were so prevalent

Ok thats your decision, bye bye as you surely won't be missed. Seriously after someone loses a 6 hole playoff and someone want to get a dig in, well it has gone too far and now they want to try to maintain some order during a professional event and you want to stop going.

No.F&B is not part of the PGA Tour at all, even after paying the bills. Food and beverage at the events is up to the tournament committees and sponsors of the events. Is it possible to purchase a chalet on 17 and have it stocked with your drink of choice? Absolutely it is but it isnt done through the PGA Tour it would be done through the tournament sales committee or whatever you want to call it depending on the event, but people that think beer sales and ticket revenue drive PGA Tours bottom lines and tournament purses have no idea what they are talking about.

Why is it too Mayberry-ish to want to return to more civil times?  I have attended two recent Open Championships and the difference is astounding. There is plenty of alcohol still being consumed by the minority but no buffoons that make noise their way of being noticed. Strange attire? Certainly. But the look at me yells  of mashed potatoes and bababooeys are noticeably absent.

Big eye roll to the Bezos and Musk comparison. Musk is a genius/innovator that is changing the world. Bryson is using one length irons and trying to hit it really far…  Ugh. Yeah Bryson, that’s why people don’t like you. 🙃🙄
