What I've heard and others have said as well...look forward to your confirmation.

60ish? carbon fiber layer face with urethane coating on face.

There will be metal in the head in a similar outer ring design as current model.

All of the heads are larger in size than current models. Stlth+ with the weight track

Red face/highly customizable weighting.

New material/head design will see increased ball speeds of 3-5mph

I’ve been hiding funds slowly to be ready to get one of these. Being the ho I am it just seems blasphemous to not give this new tech a real shot.

I basically only hit two brands of driver the past 6-7 years. Cobra and TM. They fit my eye better and I get my best results with them. I’m planning on getting the stealth and the new cobra as well. Spring showdown

A good friend of mine owns a fitting studio so I plan on getting with him and dialing in both of them and see what we can do

I’m curious to hear how the 3-5 mph ball speed is achieved and the driver face still be conforming.

Higher Ball speeds can be achieved because carbon fiber helps being more efficient in energy transfer.

Eh, but the efficiency is limited by a max ct measurement. They can go well above these with normal materials but cant because it would be illegal. Same goes for carbon. The sweet spots are already maxed. This seems like a push to get offcenter hits to near max as well.

I feel like they said the same from sim to sim2 but seems like everyone was going back to og sim

M5 Tour and M6 was best of bunch lately for me. I tried the Sim and totally disliked it. I do have currently in the bag a Sim2 MAX but it’s nothing magical. My Ping g400Max and G30 Lst are just as good in my hands. On really good strikes of each, the Pings are neck and neck with the TM. I was pressured into buying the 2 Max by our son, he’s a devoted TM HO big time. He will play nothing but! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Twist face is to help dispersion on off center hits. It's suppose to bring mis hits back towards the center of the fairway. Nothing to do with ball speed as far as I know

Can CONFIRM.  Looks similar in appearance to that of the Nike Covert models IMO. But the material and spec is accurate to what you have described. I am excited for Taylormade to debut this in December. I also believe the SOUND of this driver is going to be lovely! I love the work all the manufacturers are doing to provide us with such great options these days

3-5 more mph on misses sounds pretty good to me. Maintain the shape of the SIM and it sounds like a winner. Just gotta keep up with the SIM everywhere else.

True, but I think when these sorts of claims are made it is referring to how wide of an area they can stretch that max CT/COR. Probably easier to make the face hotter over a wider area with lighter/stronger materials, and this claim an overall ball speed increase when in fact it is the average across the face that is increasing.

Which part of the word "TWIST" made you think this was the case? 😜
