I like it.

Wasn't a fan of the white trim and blue highlights..

I'd be tempted to get one if it's square or fade bias, but may have to wait and see if reports of crack faces

Not sure, I had it in hand for no more than 30 seconds and mainly was curious at the profile so didn't notice if it said so on the corner of the face. But I'm sure they retained twist face.

Quick recap in 1 post (I only looked at the standard version for ~30 seconds):

-Very sleek look, all black (looks so much better at address without the white) with some red accents on bottom

-Overall profile is pretty much just like the SIM 1, sliding weight track is back

-Face color is a flat red (look up RGB 180, 60, 60 to get an idea), can be customized through MySIM

-Face is very light compared to a titanium one, allowing more overall weight to be behind the face

 

Most of this has probably been said already but just trying to give my personal thoughts. If what's being said about the performance is true, it'll be a real beast. I'm not a TM guy and haven't cared for their stuff for a while (mainly due to looks) but this would be on my list of products to try out. Great blend of classic and modern overall.

lol i cracked 2 driver heads this year... im not too sure about the carbon face i can swing at 130+ club head speed.. cutomer service might hear a lot from me next year haha

Taylormade Stealth is the new model. The drivers have a a carbon fiber face and the weight track is back for the stealth plus. Releasing the story in January and the clubs are coming out in February. (I work at a golf shop and the Taylormade rep stopped by to show us the clubs) color-way is black and red. Msrp will be 570-590.

So no movable weights other than the track? Is the track like OG Sim or did they do something like what Titleist did in the TSi3? 

Did you ask how well the face coloring holds up?

I wanted to try the Sim line but all those face crack stores made me skeptical. I know people say TM sold way more than anyone so there would be more issues but even so it still seems disproportionate more than other brands...Callaway and Titleist sell a ton too.

 

I'm just not sure about the carbon face. You look at some bad swings that cracked their driver carbon fiber crown by teeing their ball too high and hitting the ball on the crown. I wonder what solid face hits will do over time. I'm sure they've done test but still...I guess time will tell.

One thing if I took it to the range I would sort through the bucket and look for the decent balls to hit the driver with

I tend to get a new head every year as they are released. To be fair, by this time of the year I'd have hit 15k to 20k balls with Driver at 120+. I practice every day and play 3 times/week on average. Not on TM at all. I'm just an outlier.
