FWIW,I owned 50+ sets of irons,mostly steel shafted player CB forged but also some of all types (ie 5 sets of Pings). I had the Apex 14 with recoil 95 F3 which were my only other set of graphite shafted irons other than my current 5-g 410 with i95 reg Steelfiber. Forgot I also had the 0211 with MMT stiff soft stepped once. Honestly those three graphite shafts are all excellent. I personally like the "steel look" of the SF along with thier stability.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Sub70 clubs... wonderful clubs, great company to do business with and great customer service.

 

Definitely give them a look and a try.

Got PXG Gen3 XP irons a month ago, and I love them….

How do you find the ball flight on the 639CB?

The Accra graphite iron shafts are very nice and worth a look. Easy transition from steel.

However, getting the correct shaft is better than buying a new driver with the wrong shaft.  I recently changed the shaft is my 3 year old driver, it was a night and day difference in performance.
