The back 9 at WS is easily scorable.  2 down with 5 to play is not even close to over.

 

JS/JT are -3 on their own ball.  They could be scoring better, but they aren't playing badly.  Their score would be winning every other match right now.

Its been talked about ad nauseam why Kevin Na wasn't picked.  Everyone knew Spieth was making the team.  Its time to put the argument to bed.

Was worried about poulter being picked, can't pick players in any sport on the past....got pelters for saying it, but he's out of form badly. Just a very odd selection

Its early, but its nice to see Daniel Berger playing well.  I figured he would, as his game is perfect for match play.

 

I don't get why so many were down on his pick.  His game is so underrated.

I think what they’re saying is trade Na for JT.  No doubt in my mind Na makes the putt on 1.

At this point, unless something weird happens, its going to be 3-1 US heading into the afternoon.  You don't change a thing from the original plan.  If they were supposed to play, you play them.  You don't deviate from the plan now.

 

At the end of the day, if they lose again this afternoon, then absoutely sit them or split them up for Saturday.  But not now.  Especially while the US looks to be rolling at this point.

is anyone else ready to shoot the idiots at the golf channel with all the audio issues? its clearly not a comcast issue as im not having issues with commercials or anything else. cant wait for nbc coverage tomorrow when its hopefully not an issue

Match play situation has masked the fact that JT/JS really aren't playing that badly.  Nothing you can do with Rahm making everything he looked at on the front side.

I would take audio that’s not even part of the broadcast if they would cut the amount of commercials in half

I don’t disagree mostly.  But if I’m capn I do get in their crap.   They look like two zombies.  More JT than jordan. But still both.  Wake up or sit. Rahm and Garcia have been smiles since before the first tee ball.  Our two have the panicked stank face going. Body language is huge in my opinion

I would assume they'll get a pep talk before the afternoon.  But 4-ball is a totally different animal.  You're not going to sit the most successful pairing from 3 years ago because the world #1 got on a heater on the front 9.
