Spent the morning watching at home, reading here. Spent the afternoon at the club. What an awesome atmosphere at the club! Bryson can be such a dick but damn, he endeared himself to the crowd today. Bryson should have a vapor trail behind his shots...OMG...ROCKET shots! 
 

of course the Euros can come back but loving what I've seen so far. GO USA!

Watched the entire match and couldn't follow anything, especially on the front 9. I didn't realize they were just not showing some player's shots.

Was in the kitchen, and missed it - but, did an announcer say (after it was over) that a 6-2 was the biggest 1st day lead the Americans have had in 46 years?

Cantlay is playing as well as the Number 1 in the world. He's had such an awesome last couple months. Number 1 in the world isn't always reflective of who's playing the best but I'd argue with anyone that Cantlay is that guy, NUMBER 1!

Euros just outmatched except for Rahm. The bouy as some describe him. Hatton with the clutch 18 though. DJ and Xander bludgeoning players. Too bad Stricker didn't pick the short knockers Kiz or NA to give them a chance.

I hope Stricker plays similar pairings tomorrow morning except Id love to see Brooks and Morikawa go out early, maybe first pairing. Then put Tony and English right after. Those two guys look great together. Play them twice tomorrow. 
 

Im all for leaving Bryson on the bench in the morning and put Scottie back with him tomorrow afternoon. They play off each other well.  Keep Xanader/Cantlay and try JT and Jordan again.

Am I the only one who hates the name of the game foursomes and fourball instead of Alternate shot and Best ball?

I was wondering about that myself because I could have sworn the format had changed. However, the only thing that changed was what they called the matches. I was arguing with a couple guys at the club and they were right, I was wrong. Many years ago they called it "best ball" though. I know that for sure

Since they start at 7 am local time tomorrow, I'd sure hope so.

Harrington should be kicking himself in the azz for not playing Sergio this afternoon. He's SOOOOOO good in this format and outside of Rham and Hovland probably their best player. Unless Sergio had some reason not to go out again that is a major error by Padraig.

Rory is gonna be benched tomorrow morning 100%. Also where are all those people who were saying the US was gonna get steamrolled in the afternoon? 3-1 sounds good to me!

On thing about Morikawa. Several people said before the afternoon sessions he might be out because of his back. Think about it guys, he hit more shots on the practice tee than he hit in his match. Morikawa should have been in the afternoon session although you can't complain about the results.

My suspicion? Sergio is old (not old like me, but still). 36 holes in a day is pretty tiring, even for pros. Padrig may be pacing him.

Dustin hit a putt this morning and the tv coverage  played crowd  noise cheering in reverse. That was weird. We can’t trust the coverage of crowd noise to be truthful? What else are they faking?

I agree. I mean he's 41 now. But I think we're going to see him play in two sessions tomorrow.

Maybe so but foursomes is not that bad on the body. You hit maybe half the normal shots as you would in a typical round. Sergio is a major pain in the azz in Ryder Cup. You have to play that guy as much as possible. His mojo is amazing and it pumps up the team. Why let that major advantage sit?
