Just found out my high school buddy's daughter will be the 1st tee DJ... hmmm time to come up with each players walk up music.   

DJ Shawna is having a hot year... she is the Bucks DJ at Fiserv and was also the DJ for the NBA all star weekend.

Certainly underdogs but I dont agree with 11/5 *against, US team has plenty of issues itself. Ive had a little punt..

Have not been to the course so looking for any good viewing options outside of 1 tee. Planning to get there wee hours of the morning, perhaps do a little tailgating.

I think this Ryder Cup may get more heated than the War at the Shore.  It's been 3 years so there's not the dread of doing same ol same ol.  It's fresh and will get heated if it's close.

 

More than that, several fiery Euros are on what is likely their last Cup (Sergio, Westwood, Poulter).  I could see them getting super intense in their matches.  Then the dynamics within the teams (Koepka vs Dechambeau vs the other 10 US players) and (Sergio vs Harrington)...we can only hope some drama evolves in all that.

 

Should be an entertaining weekend.

Westwood fiery?  Does that mean his pulse gets measurable? He’s pretty laid back, like his game these days. He’ll be intense if he’s playing well, but fiery?

gethsemane in Webber’s original performed by Ted neeley blew my mind…

I would forever become a fan of Tommy fleetwood if he came out to this ha…

 

start the track at 2:30…Ted was a high alto with a range unequalled…I’ve seen this show on Broadway many times and Neely was literally god…

It’s my favorite and learned an incredible version of it on the piano back in junior high! Neeley did kind of a farewell tour with the show and was in Des Moines a few years ago - even at his age he was great.

Lol it might but it'll be tame compared 2025.  I don't think the European team will even make it to Sunday.

ha, I love that we have similar sensibilities…

Carl Anderson could also kill it….he would occasionally sing “heaven on their minds” as he became more of a popular star…

I love the way Webber used odd syncopated melody over music, often at a different tempo…

heaven on their minds was bananas and Carl killed it every time he sang it…

Just saw the weather forecast.  Looks to favor Europe.  Colder and windy. US should have lead with 4 balls.

With the lack of European fans, I am sincerely hoping that no one Stateside has given up tickets to the so called Guardians of the Ryder Cup. You know, those self indulgent try hards that turn up on the 1st tee decked out in yellow and blue to sign there terrible songs. A Ryder Cup without those guys will be majestic!
