Larry is just a really private guy....I caddied in the old Amana VIP tournament in 1978 as a 15 years old, and Larry was the pro in our group....really nice, but he didn't utter two words the entire round.  Couples just has ZERO interest in putting in the time necessary....he has all but admitted as much.

Haven't seen the course, but the Euro Tour does do an amazing job at showcasing the worst Europe has to offer, starting with the Belfry, Celtic Manor, that ridiculous Irish course. So, another bad one wouldn't be a surprise.
