Del Mar/Odyssey 9 style heads?

These seem to have become quite scarce over the last few years as mallets have taken over the golfing world.   I think PXG released a style like this but are there others that I'm missing?  I took a chance this year and went back to an anser style head and while my putting has been ok, its far better with the Del Mar style head.  

 

I may just bite the bullet and by a new Scotty Del Mar, but there have to be others out there right?

Agree that these have become harder to find. Could always try to find some older models in strong condition such as Toulon San Francisco, any Odyssey #9, Bettinardi BB34 etc

I lost an auction on eBay for a Toulon SF.  I’ve had one before and wish I’d kept it.  It went for $405 which is about $100 more than I was willing to pay.  I’ll check out the Bettinardi!

If you want to go a less expensive route, Cleveland released a #9 shape in their Frontline line of putters.

I own 3 different year #9 Delmar's and I'll say that the 2020 version was the best.. (only my personal opinion, but I've played the delmar head for many, many years )

I’ve been playing this style for several years now as well and had my eye on a Wilson staff infinite grant park this year.  If you don’t mind pre-owned, the odyssey protype #9 is a bargain.  Of the premium options, the Del Mar button back and original Del Mar 3.5 with some weight added are my go to’s.  I’ve also been eyeing the Toulon and Bettinardi as well as the special select Del Mar.

I just scored a Toulon San Francisco off the bay.  I’ve had one before and look forward to putting it back in the bag.

 

I’ve really been eyeing the new Scotty Del Mar too.  I hesitate because I had the California Del Mar (not the Sea Mist) and it was ok but kinda clicky.  My putting has been worse this year than ever, tonight played 9 and had 3 3 putts.  I’m just not as confident with an answer style at all.

Love that shape, but agree, they are scarce compared to other, older classic shapes.

 

I like heavier heads, making the struggle even more real.

 

I sent a #9 Versa to SpryEvo to get a heavier, better feeling insert installed..

 

Game it from time to time..

I think the GoLo M3 is one of the best looking putters of all time. Lajosi makes a version that seems to be pretty similar.

I'm not sure if Kari still offers the Bayzie HSM style?  I don't see it in his current list of offerings on his site.  He does have the LP7, which is a heel-shafted mid-mallet, but doesn't have the cavity.  

 

I have a Bayzie HSM with a copper insert - it's a great putter.

Odyssey Metal X Mille Versa #9Ht best of them all. Nice soft feel, not clicky at all compared to the Scottys. Here’s my custom one.

It was a company I found on EBay of all places. They did the custom finish and added the site dot.

Rife made a good looking one as well, with a finish a bit like @eddiebigeddie's customized beauty. 

 

Then there's the what I think is the grandfather of them all, the Taylormade TPA XVIII. Mine was refinished by someone before I bought it. I might add the cool colours to the back sightline.

It's a bit light, even with a load of lead tape attached to the sole. I often use a Odyssey White Ice #9, which is OK.

And guys do not forget the Nike Method 003--- I just recently sold one. Not a collectable by any stretch but got $50 for it
