Ted Lasso - Best show in decades....

Im sure the "best show in decades" is subjective......but this show is deliciously wholesome, hilariously heartwarming, and I genuinely have become a better person from watching this show.

This show is far from what I was expecting though I dont know why. But with that said, this is really the BEST show thats been put out in quite a while. It is very wholesome with plenty of adult language but also has some great characters. Roy Kent is prob my fav character!! I also like that they release a new episode every Friday instead of dumping the entire season at once. I would 100% watch the entire season in a day if they did that, but at least have something to look forward to now.

Agree with everyone here! With also being a high school soccer coach, travel soccer coach, I find it extremely relatable. The twists and turns Ted puts on everything is amazing. I still find the dart scene as one of the best tv scenes ever. It is safe to say I look forward to each new episode more and more.

Agree with all of the above. Roy Kent is our favorite as well. To be honest all of the characters seem spot on and so well written.

Terrific show. Last week's episode with Beard was odd though. Didn't advance the narrative as didn't the Christmas episode. Apparently the writers had already the arc done for 10 episodes but Apple wanted 12. Hence the odd two. Enjoyable nevertheless less. 

 

Mare of Easttown is excellent also though a mile different than Ted Lasso. Kate Winslet's and Jean Smart's acting is really, really good.

I do like how much this show has worked to feature what other shows would just consider minor characters and attempt to develop good backstories and give potential for interesting forward stories. Every character is a real human being...a little different and with their own quirks and things, but all humans with mistakes, emotions, etc. I hope it keeps going!
