of all time?

Yeah the head weight of the OG stainless is what I’ve always had an issue with, is it 330 or lighter?

It's around 310.

The Redwood was more an Anser shape than Anser 2. But for Ping the bumper shapes we're always a little odd.

Though not a true Anser 2 I prefer my BeNi Scottsdale Anser over all of them (including my two Scotty Newports).  There is another thread about putter head weight and my Anser 2 BeCu does feel much lighter than todays models. My Scottsdale BeNi when measured actually has higher swingweight that the two Scotties and the Anser 2.  All are exactly 35 inches. Super sweet feel and swings great.

I currently have a BeNi Scottsdale Anser, and this putter is amazing! The feel is great and the weight is a little light compared to today's standards, but still a very playable putter!

Totally agree with this (see my above post).  I had purchased a new BeNi Scottsdale new about 25 years ago when they originally came out. I believe I paid less than $100. Back then I would buy and trade putters like cheap mutual funds.  Always regretted getting rid of it. Earlier this year I found another in excellent condition (still had the original "Scottsdale Anser" shaft band on it). Paid $120 and feel I got a steal. Haven't used either Scotty since other than a brief comparison session at the practice green.  I'm hanging on to this one.

I have pretty much every Anser version from the mid 60s to current, and my favorite has to be the Redwood series.  I agree with a few others that say those were the best ever......RW Anser with the WRX sound slot and tungsten weights, my favorite blade style putter overall.  There are many others earlier and later that have their own merits, so many good sticks in this lineup over the years.

Here is my Pat Pend BeCu Anser 2 and BeNi Scottsdale Anser.

I only recently picked up the BeCu off a local classifieds in the last few weeks, but ended up paying ~$135USD for it and the BeNi I picked up off ebay for ~$60USD about 2 years ago.

I remember when Ping released the BeNi Anser, I was so obsessed with this model as a teenager playing golf in late 90's and early 2000's, but could never afford it. I loved the gold PING writing in the back and the shape of them, when I found this one I jumped on it! Such a great putter with great memories!
